  1. Some of my friends are Democrats. My other friends are Republicans. I'm with my friends.
  2. Bad look for Damar. Guy needs to rise above this wackness. Arguing with someone like AB is a lose-lose proposition. These cats need some basic PR (and adult) training.
  3. Either two things are correct: The ROI of saving two yards is disproportionately lower than the increased possibility of blocked kicks. Ergo, a six foot (2 yard) man traveling 10 mph (17,600 yards) with a horizontal leap of 12 feet (4 yards) would reach the kicker's outstretched foot 23 percent more using the calculation V (velocity)=1/2 gt squared. Your theory is correct and you just let the cat out of the bag. Either way, we're screwed.
  4. Facts all come with points of view. Facts don't do what I want them to. Facts just twist the truth around.
  5. When I watch Fields, I see an athlete but I don't see an NFL-caliber starting QB let alone a franchise pick. We all know the weirdness Russ Wilson brings. An absolute dumpster fire in Denver - they couldn't wait to offload him. He needs a coach to build a system around him, he's not a leader of men, and he's pushing 36 years old. Why would the Steelers even build an offense around a clear stop-gap? The Steelers IMO went backwards with their offense by unloading Mason Rudolph. They should have kept him and drafted a QB high and rolled the dice. I can see grabbing one of these guys but BOTH? Boggles my mind.
  6. Your (illogical) bias is well documented here, too. He didn't say critics were narrow-minded. He said people saying the Bills haven't had success are narrow-minded. Our team has been successful. It just hasn't won the big prize, yet. When you cherry pick comments and take things out of context to bolster some extreme view, that's where authority and reasonableness go out the window. He's not defending the status quo. Do you really think a head coach, who likely works 70 hours a week, doesn't care about winning it all? Quote: "When you talk about the Bills, whether it's Josh, myself, our team, we've had so much success. What's left for Josh and for all of us is to take that one more step that we need to take." He's not blaming Josh for anything. Goodness, man.
  7. That’s like having your 1989 Ford Festiva repossessed.
  8. I’m not sure how Lamar was such an overwhelming MVP choice. He was anointed by Week 3. Why is the question.
  9. I get that these guys devoted most of their time in college to football, but my God — so many of them are borderline illiterate. It always surprises me a bit tbh. On another note, Carter's incident was more than an "accident". Dude was drag racing ... on a suspended license for speeding. Speeds of the dead driver reached 104 mph in downtown Athens. And Carter lied to police about even being on scene.
  10. Defensive stats: No. 2 - TDs allowed No. 4 - INTs No. 4 - Sacks No. 4 - Point differential No. 8 - Yds/att No. 9 - Fumble recoveries Biggest loss differential - 6 points We are top 10 in almost every defensive category, despite the rash of injuries. Visually, the defense had the look - aggressive and smart. How McD had this unit playing as well as it did with these massive injuries is nothing short of amazing IMO. People calling the defense "garbage" and other vapid names have a poor take and that's saying it lightly.
  11. Said the fan of a team named after a man who killed its mascot for a living and didn’t even live anywhere near the city it’s named after.
  12. It was delicious watching the Eagles owner pout in his suite and the obvious toxicity on the sidelines. Don’t know what happened but they flat out disintegrated. Nastiest fans in the league. And it’s always fun watching the Cowboys go down.
  13. Bass has lost it. Needs a sports shrink fast. I think we need to bring in a kicker stat.
  14. I guess just come to peace that more than 50% of people aren’t logical. You throw in collectivism like politics or fandom and that number gets worse. Acceptance of this will lead to more zen.
  15. 1. Steal Mahomes’ nuggies 2. Make Taylor Swift sit with the commoners
  16. The vitriol on this board toward Von is bizarre. I hope his injury heals, so he can play another couple years here to the level he was at just last year, I hope the legal situation was all a big misunderstanding, and I hope he continues on his path to healing. Why don’t we let the legal system take its course before people start skewering him. Haven’t we learned our lesson with the punter?
  17. Vrabel’s ground and pound offense against Josh Allen? Bulk up on linebacker I guess, I’ll take it He’s a well respected coach, but his offense has been the most boring in the NFL.
  18. Rookie WRs take two years to develop generally. Id prefer a veteran.
