This board has thinner skin that I ever imagined, and I've been here for years, AND I thought it was really thin skinned. Can't say I love every column, but most to me have been decent and forced me to revaluate my illogical optimism. The team hasn't been to the playoffs in 13 years. (That's why they call it NEWs, not olds...corny joke.) He was public, and gets the positives and negatives that go along with it, including after death. Emotion is high with a beloved figure, and that is understandable, but I have zero problem with this piece.

NOT taking a QB somewhere in the second to fourth round would be a huge gamble. EJ is 50-50; we don't know too much more about him now than we did in September. First round is a moot question, however, they already said they weren't doing that and there are too many needs in other areas. But, yeah, I really hope we draft another QB to provide a competition/backup/starter/another option role.
