  1. And for the next random key stroke player: ahgf kfjahjkhdfkdjfkp
  2. I'm not a lawyer or in-the-know, but I play them on this board.
  3. Always loved the Supremes.
  4. Well, someone has to "own" the team before it's sold. It just would seem this should have been messaged before he passed. It appears like "now what do we do?" despite the guy being 95. And Mary is cheap.
  5. I see and respect your point. But I don't think there's anything "unfortunate" about dying at 95. I would call that pretty fortunate to live that long. He's gone, and that's all there is too it. Don't understand the need to sugarcoat words with fluff just to be sensitive about a guy we all knew was going to go anytime.
  6. They are paying the writer money to write opinion. He has an opinion on a news event on a public figure, who just passed. No one will read the column a year, or a month, from now. (That's why they call it NEWs, not olds...corny joke.) He was public, and gets the positives and negatives that go along with it, including after death. Emotion is high with a beloved figure, and that is understandable, but I have zero problem with this piece.
  7. He just passed. It's news...now. The time to analyze is now. Not a year from now. The guy is not in the business of being respectful. He's in the business of news and opinion, regardless of whether you agree with that opinion.
  8. JK is too young to hear those words. Sad indeed.
  9. Knowing our luck, he'll become a vegan Hare Krishnan. I, for one, am looking forward to him wreaking havoc. OP: You can look at like this. You can bash someone you love. But if you hear another person saying the same thing to someone you love, you defend your loved one. You're still a man.
  10. I'm not even remotely "metro" sexual, but these guys are horrible dressers. Holy Hell. Grandma's drapes, too funny. On another note, makes sense it's BB, but I thought it was going to be Sexy Rexy.
  11. NOT taking a QB somewhere in the second to fourth round would be a huge gamble. EJ is 50-50; we don't know too much more about him now than we did in September. First round is a moot question, however, they already said they weren't doing that and there are too many needs in other areas. But, yeah, I really hope we draft another QB to provide a competition/backup/starter/another option role. I just don't understand this mindset of cashing in all of your chips/putting all eggs in one basket mentality.
  12. 1. I was in college. 2. America had not yet been attacked. 3. Facebook, smartphones, digital music and "apps" didn't exist. 4. EJ Manuel was 9 or 10. 5. Jean shorts were still acceptable clothing for men.
  13. E. His mom is a well-known employment harassment attorney.
  14. Four years ago, I committed to someone I wasn't 100 percent on. Two years ago, I thought I already gave her two years why not a little more. As of January, I'm single. But at least I committed. Well, Bills fans should be committed anyway, so maybe it's kosher to commit for the sake of committing.
  15. I think Bills fans everywhere would feel better about Manuel if he were able to actually beat someone who wasn't a journeyman. I'll say it again, we're committing to an unknown commodity, one who hasn't been really tested. Tom Brady outshined Drew Bledsoe. Russell Wilson beat Whatshisface. Even RGIII had competition with Cousins, who were drafted together. So on and so forth. Unless you're Andrew Luck, which Manuel is not, a smart team will let two guys duke it out. Stand corrected. I also remember, however, seeing a quote from Whaley that they would look at all options, including QB, and there actually being a thread here and a similar debate.
  16. I think you may be technically wrong. I don't remember the Bills saying anywhere that Manuel was their unchallenged starter next season.
  17. He has no legit competition. You let him beat out the competition, one that is drafted high, and then "commit" to the winner for the year. And who says it's only two years? Did the Bills say that? After drafting Manuel, the official word was Kolb was the starter. Manuel beat him out.
  18. Losing teams are committed to unknown commodities. Want to talk about the culture of winning? Manuel is at best a 50-50 bet. He's got some game and looks the part, but is sloth slow to react, injury-prone, and doesn't seem to read the field well. The Bills would be wise to "commit" to a winner only, and bring in competition during the draft...and let the best guy win the job.
  19. We should be called Bantha Fodder.
  20. I never say LOL. I literally LOLd though.
  21. Not a company, but I say more Google +. Loyal users who swear by it. But most people doesn't know it exists.
  22. You mean the smartest guys in the room? Doubtful.
  23. RadioShack. You want to like them, but everything they do sucks. And keeps surviving, somehow. Yes, once were innovators, now just holding on to a thread, yet some people STILL won't give them up.
