  1. I had no idea there were Bills fans who hated this guy. He was thrilling to watch, played with heart, and won games with a bad offense. And the fact that he was the last QB to get us to the playoffs 14 years ago. Doesn't seem logical.
  2. Are you serious or joking?
  3. The Bills are in it to win it. Just hired this guy to whip our fat ass demons into shape. http://images.huffingtonpost.com/2014-07-01-richard32.jpg
  4. Thank you. If he rips two 50 yard TDs the next two weeks some here will talk MVP. Fandom is often absurd and trading a weapon like Spiller is to.
  5. The page is two hours old. Not him, unless someone else created it.
  6. We'll said. And true. The minutiae of our lives is increasingly being controlled by control freaks. The NFL is no exception. One rule begets another begets another begets another bureaucracy to manage it. It's relentless. There are so many rules it's become impossible to enforce them consistently.
  7. So we're upset that a player answers a question honestly (and respectfully) and want the same old tired BS stock answers that we also bash? I'm glad he spoke up, and I appreciate his frankness. It gives us fans a smidgen of hope that things will be better. Or, we can just take it "one day at a time" and focus on the "game on hand."
  8. And the Garupollo era begins. Not really but it's fun to dream.
  9. I prefer to snark. However, there is nothing to snark here. This post is reasonable, true, and boring in its well-reasoned logic. Boom.
  10. Well said. Most of us hoped, and hope still does exist, but it clearly was time. With a competent QB we have a shot at the playoffs.
  11. On the bright side, EJ/Hackett took copious amounts of shots downfield, a lack of which we've been complaining about. I give this kid one more game to look like a competent QB. While his play was putrid, he deserves a bit of a break due to the o line's inability to slow down the pass rush. But, yeah, putrid. How many people were wishing we had Fitzpatrick back? Yikes.
  12. ...Which is clearly the Raiders. TV is about entertainment. Watching a "perennial contender" play in a mismatch is not entertainment ... unless you're a diehard fan of that team playing. Broadcasters are clueless, lazy, and predictable. Bills/Chargers will likely be a far more entertaining game than a ¼ of the ones broadcasted. In Atlanta, which is obviously NFC South territory, I get AFC Steelers games nearly every week. Sorry, watching the Steelers and Ravens (historically) carve out 12-9 sludge fests is not fun.
  13. Two games don't earn respect, but I agree -- Broadcasters are clueless about the games they broadcast. I never get Bills games here; this should be a good game, no matter who wins. Chicken and the egg. SD/Buff don't have interest because they're never on. SD is on more than the Bills, as are the wretched Raiders.
  14. Great vid. What a humble house, and kid. Great dog too.
  15. Now where did I put that flux capacitor?
  16. The Steelers in Atlanta. Every. Damn. Week.
  17. That's pretty funny.
  18. Jersey girls loved Bon Jovi in HS. Slippery When Wet actually got me my first tail way back then. Thank you, Bon Jovi, for all that you've done. ^Now that you're not buying the Bills, that is. Yes, you may listen now.
  19. This team passes the eye test for this fan. Balanced D against a solid O, potent weapons and EJ can be good enough to win. I look forward to taking off his leash and seeing what he can do. In order to make the playoffs we will eventually have to stretch the field vertically. But great game and fun to watch.
  20. I'm afraid this team is bantha fodder this season.
  21. So this post is right above the Lance Briggs BBQ post. I like my ribs South Carolina style -- dry rub and mustard-based sauce. http://mcribdeconstructed.com You're welcome.
  22. Guy's a cross between the Mack and Hugh Hefner. Love it! (Where's his pipe?)
  23. Um, EJ isn't a starting vet? Change troubling to telling. This is a guy that this team is trying to push as the established starter. This is a guy you probably want a C on.
  24. I'm tired just thinking about the legwork. It likely took Big Ben several years to mature into a captain position. The Tom Brady fact is quite interesting though.
  25. The quarterback is the defacto captain of the team. His lack of inclusion should be troubling to any fan. I'm curious to see a list of veteran starting quarterbacks who arent captains of their teams. Any takers on compiling this list?
