The REAL reason Duke Didnt Catch The TD Pass
Just in Atlanta replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He just simply passes the eye test, has good hands, sizable reach, and it boggles the mind why he wasn't used more. Someone here said he doesn't fit the scheme. What scheme is that? Receivers under 6 feet? His size, and presence, was noticeable in that game after watching Brown and Beasley all year. -
Final Rational Thoughts for the 2019-20 Season

You must explain this, OP. I won't be able to sleep tonight until I understand A) how one could slip through a phone book and B) why said phone book would be good at tackling in the first place. -
What is the key to the game?
Just in Atlanta replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The key lies on offense. Find some rhythm early. Hit that deep ball. Spread the ball with consistency. Play fearless but limit turnovers to 1 or less. -

Great video analysis of Josh v. The Ravens

Really good video. That Baltimore D is suffocating. And we need to make a receiver a top priority. -

Bills will light up NE on Sat

I hope you're right. It's tough to really know what this offense can actually do. It's been incredibly conservative of late, sans the one play in the first half when we went for it on 4th and 6. Allen has to make those deep throws and his receivers have to make more contested catches. I don't want to see it but it may make sense to continue being conservative with the playoffs locked and our D playing such inspirational football. -
Vic Fangio wants to see NFL drop divisions format
Just in Atlanta replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bully for Vic. Anomalies are the spice of life. It's fun to have outliers in the playoffs. It's also fun that each division has a unique feel. I would be more inclined to vote for more geographic or culture-based divisions, though. I'd vote for a Buffalo - Pit - Cleveland - NY division or something like that. -
MMQB respects 'fight' in Bills

"Fight" is akin to bless your heart in the South. But until we beat a good team, that's all we deserve. -
The fake kneel down before the half

Beyond bush. Skeezy and dangerous. -
The refs also threw some questionable flags on the Ravens at the end that put us in scoring position. EDIT: The Ravens had nine penalties. The Bills, five. If that's a conspiracy it's a really bad one. Conspiracies are hard to pull off my friend. You need A) a compelling reason, B) Competent people to pull it off in mass and C) The assurance that none of them would squeal. The more reasonable explanation is that they're not that good. I would agree the production was bad. Even my GF, whose not a sports fan, asked why they didn't show those two penalties.

Allen was battered and bruised all game. Looked like Balt was bringing the house every play and still had our receivers locked. Allen looked like he was in pain early on. With the exception of the deep ball--which we all can plainly see is overthrown every time--Allen had a good game, IMO, given the situation. I didn't see many open receivers. Lots of drops. We lack a top flight receiver. I just trust this defense. That secondary is stellar. Baltimore is a damn good team and we hung around and could've beaten them. Get that deep ball rolling, and stop dropping balls, and we can win a playoff game or two.
