  1. Jeff Tuel got a bad rap. He really wan't all that bad. I'd rank him up with Thad Lewis. I'd go with with Nathan Peterman Then... Billy Joe Hobert At least Peterman studied the playbook. Kelly Holcomb, TJ Yates and Brian Bohm were all pretty bad, too, no?
  2. Fun fact: No shutout in Minnesota since 1962.
  3. Do we have to set up a Go Fund Me account for BuffaloRush?
  4. That o lineman looked like he was trying to play paddy cake with Hughes instead of blocking him.
  5. The balls are literally bouncing our way. What is this magic? Nice job Milano!
  6. What a rush decision! McD needs to look at more "tape." You know, footage. Maybe Peterman isn't all that bad and our eyes deceived us with the two interceptions (to add to the other five), no first downs and no TDs.
  7. McD clearly didn't clap enough today. I blame it on that.
  8. Even the Bills' radio spots are bad. Micah Hyde's voiceover on depression made me depressed.
  9. 1. This chick needs a new lawyer. $15k for an STD from one of the top paid linemen in the NFL? And why on Earth would you even admit the consensual/non consensual sex part if you were only suing and not pursuing criminal charges? (Because if I were a woman, and raped, there's nothing more I'd want to do than ... have consensual sex with my attacker afterward?) 2. Dareus appears to have very little passion for the game, obviously has no self control and has the intelligence of an eggplant. What a wise move by Beane getting rid of him. I only hope the Shady story is bogus, which it appears to be. All of these guys need to choose their sexual conquests a little better. Jesus. 3. Seriously dislike the journalistic standard of not publicizing "victims' " names of sexual abuse in lawsuits while dragging the accused's name through the mud. I know she filed as Jane Doe in the suit, but journalists have been doing this for decades with other stories. When I was a reporter, I thought it was wrong, and it's wrong today. If you run a story on a suit or criminal case, you should publish both names, public figure or not, sexual crime or not. It's 2017, and by not publishing a name you're actually stigmatizing it. From a legal standpoint, you shouldn't be able to file anonymously IMO. Serious question: Can you prove a particular person gave you an STD? (I presume he knew; otherwise it wouldn't be grounds for a suit I imagine, but how can she prove Dareus gave it to her, and not, say, Mike Vick, aka Ron Mexico?).
  10. MADly entertained by this thread.
  11. In high school, Incognito was voted "Most Likely to be Held Involuntarily, Twice, Under the Baker Act." Amazing prediction.
  12. That's nothing in today's world of "journalism." If this article generates a lot of interest, there will be articles about the articles and articles about readers' perception of the articles. It is weak. Just provide a link to the damn article already, do your own interviews, come up with your own story ideas, and do the job that journalists used to paid for.
  13. I don't see it like that. He was saying that Flutie had PR on his side. Part of that was Flutie's son. He wasn't making fun of the kid or anything. It's just an observation, and it's likely an accurate one.
  14. He may very well be bitter, but I fail to see it based on the quotes he said, and I was on Team Flutie. Why is he bitter? Because the headline says so? He was being honest, and it was fun to see his POV. Flutie WAS considered a bit of a joke, until he started winning. Johnson understood, and dissected, the psychology behind the PR battle/public debate. And of course he thought he was the better QB. Wouldn't you if you were him? This is why public figures don't give honest interviews. So many people can't comprehend nuance. It's also a dishonest headline and weak journalism. The "contributing" writer on upstateNY.com didn't even do the interview. Just say what he said already and let readers analyze the internal workings of Johnson's mind themselves.
  15. I'd be shocked if they did. From a communications perspective, he's too much of an unknown. Will some snot-nosed reporter set him off? Plus, the way he retired, if in fact this is real, was not fitting for a press conference worthy player. That said, he got railroaded by the whole Martin affair. What a bunch of BS. I am glad he gave us three good years though. Hopefully, his health wasn't too affected.
  16. I checked while sober. Still blue.
  17. A technical aside, but am I the only one who can barely read these original posts on iPhone because of the dark blue screen and black letters? I’d upload a screenshot, but the file size is too big.
  18. Keep Taylor, who got us our playoff berth. Do whatever it takes to find our next 10-year franchise QB. Surprising to see so many fans talk about not messing up our draft bank, when the No. 1 reason for our failure has been QB. It’s a rinse and repeat mentality.
  19. Gotcha. News will (hopefully) always exist, the “paper” part is a relic. Having said that, I am an ex newspaper person, with a degree in Journalism and a concentration in “Newspapers.” Key word ex. Don’t know what I was thinking.
  20. So that means they shouldn’t get paid? The Buffalo News does a good job covering this team, Jerry Sullivan aside.
  21. Totally agree. Any why should I have to pay for Netflix while I'm at it? It's all thoughts when you think about it. It's not like content creators and content publishers have to be paid or anything. I know, right. You used to get so much more for free back in the day.
  22. So stoked to be watching the Bills in January. From here on in, Andy Dalton shall be known as #GingerJesus.
