  1. The key lies on offense. Find some rhythm early. Hit that deep ball. Spread the ball with consistency. Play fearless but limit turnovers to 1 or less.
  2. I can't believe no one mentioned his hands. Seems like it could be a reason.
  3. Playing our best players and scoring a lot of points is a far better strategy than my idea of using scrubs and scoring 17. I say let's go for it.
  4. Can't rest everyone. Although I would fully support players from the stands at this point.
  5. Can we just play replacements across the board? No more injuries!
  6. Really good video. That Baltimore D is suffocating. And we need to make a receiver a top priority.
  7. Gase - Has googly eyes. McDermott - Does not have googly eyes.
  8. I hope you're right. It's tough to really know what this offense can actually do. It's been incredibly conservative of late, sans the one play in the first half when we went for it on 4th and 6. Allen has to make those deep throws and his receivers have to make more contested catches. I don't want to see it but it may make sense to continue being conservative with the playoffs locked and our D playing such inspirational football.
  9. Bully for Vic. Anomalies are the spice of life. It's fun to have outliers in the playoffs. It's also fun that each division has a unique feel. I would be more inclined to vote for more geographic or culture-based divisions, though. I'd vote for a Buffalo - Pit - Cleveland - NY division or something like that.
  10. "Fight" is akin to bless your heart in the South. But until we beat a good team, that's all we deserve.
  11. Beyond bush. Skeezy and dangerous.
  12. Who knows? CBS never showed it. And the color announcer never talked about it. Redonkulous. .
  13. The refs also threw some questionable flags on the Ravens at the end that put us in scoring position. EDIT: The Ravens had nine penalties. The Bills, five. If that's a conspiracy it's a really bad one. Conspiracies are hard to pull off my friend. You need A) a compelling reason, B) Competent people to pull it off in mass and C) The assurance that none of them would squeal. The more reasonable explanation is that they're not that good. I would agree the production was bad. Even my GF, whose not a sports fan, asked why they didn't show those two penalties.
  14. Allen was battered and bruised all game. Looked like Balt was bringing the house every play and still had our receivers locked. Allen looked like he was in pain early on. With the exception of the deep ball--which we all can plainly see is overthrown every time--Allen had a good game, IMO, given the situation. I didn't see many open receivers. Lots of drops. We lack a top flight receiver. I just trust this defense. That secondary is stellar. Baltimore is a damn good team and we hung around and could've beaten them. Get that deep ball rolling, and stop dropping balls, and we can win a playoff game or two.
  15. That's one tall dude.
  16. Valid point. The Eagles and Browns were under an inordinate amount of PR pressure the week we played them. Dallas' HC may not have a job in a week or two. And the team was called out by its owner. Let's see how we both react in the national spotlight.
  17. Are we subject to a misunderstanding of cause and correlation a little? In related news, Daboll shaved his beard and McClappy and Allen are looking pastier than ever.
  18. How nice is it to be talking about our team being in control of its own destiny in late November? It's been 20 years since we've seen this level of competence.
  19. He drank and got lucky...with a girl. I bet he didn't recycle yesterday too. So glad our QB is abstinent, celibate and environmentally-conscious.
  20. That we implode on national TV: 4. Dallas is going to go old school on us, just got called out by its owner, Garett is coaching for his job, and our history with powerful backs of late isn't good. Will Allen continue his good play or revert to hero ball and throw 20 picks? Will Daboll try to get too cute? Will we let the limelight blind us? Having said that, I'm at a 9 that we don't make the playoffs. I do think we probably make it and may even advance one round.
  21. We'll be done eating by 4. I told my fiancé's non-sports family they're welcome to stay past 4:30 but that the Bills are not casual entertainment. Be absorbed or go home.
  22. Great article. I do believe history will show we got the best QB in a stacked QB draft. Either way, he's my favorite and he passes multiple eye tests, stats aside.
