    He may not make very many big breakups (like his INT the other day). But our defense is remarkable better with him. Teams avoid him. He's a force, albeit a bit of an enigma type player. With the linebacker market the way it is now, he's probably gone but I'd love to see him here next year.

    Fail to see that logic. Cinci doesn't get the chance to move up. KC gets the No. 1 seed automatically - leaving us to play yet again in KC We played a half quarter; other than the emotional trauma it's a partial bye week. There are probably many other results of a missed game as well.

    I could only imagine that if this board started cancelling posters for dumb misogynistic comments, what percentage that would be, let alone the people on this thread flaming away. I’m no fan of Sullivan’s brand of journalism and his comments were silly but the delight so many of us feel in others’ destruction is bizarre to me.

    Of course he will. To think he didn't get serious consideration last year is silly. He's by most reports a phenomenal coach and by most (excluding some on this channel) a solid coordinator. I echo the sentiment of many here: He's repeatedly fielded a top defense every year he's been here. I'll never understand this trend - it's bonkers.
