  1. Edmunds is like an eye floater. He's always there, in the background, hardly visible. Once you notice him? You can't unsee him. My wife's reaction was similar to SoMAn's. Wanting a fresh perspective, I asked her, "Watch the guy in the dreds in the middle of the field." She's like, "He's kinda running in circles" on Play 1 then "He engages with every guy OTHER than the one with the ball" then "He's kinda jogging" and then in the Fourth Quarter, he actually makes a play to stop the first down. She's like, "He just engulfed that dude". OMG, yes, yes, yes: Edmunds is on the periphery of every play. But ... why on Earth is he not used more aggressively with those physical skills? My wife said something we've all said here: "Either he can't figure out where the ball's going or that's how the coach is using him". Edmunds' role in 2021 was a space eater. Is that his planned role? Or are his football instincts THAT bad? Where's your hall pass?
  2. Rodgers has a playoff problem for sure. And he comes off as a bit arrogant in interviews. AND it is amazing to think of Brady having more NFC playoff wins than Rodgers. But here are the things that led to the loss: Bad offensive strategy and play-calling Lack of offensive adjustments Two blocked punts/kicks 49ers' defense Rodgers' lack of aggressiveness Rodgers' views on vaccines or Joe Rogan's views on vaccines for that matter -- why tf is he even part of this? -- literally have nothing to do with this loss. Yet, the joke is regurgitated over and over. And the people who regurgitate said joke think they're being witty. The demonization of ideas and people that don't follow the norm is not cool. It's mindlessness. We all lose a bit with this vapidness.
  3. "McDermott era should end!" et all. You know who you are.
  4. Is this like one of those gender bias riddles? Or a random word generator?
  5. Losing both coordinators at once could have a more serious impact than some want to believe. I hope we keep at least one. If we lose both Daboll and Frazier, I'm guessing a one and done playoff next year then back on top for two more years after that. The question is, how many after that? The answer lies in how healthy Allen can stay with his playing style. Even Roethlisberger changed his style as he got older due to injury. With Allen, anything is possible.
  6. His swan song was that ridiculous Qi sneak. Glorious.
  7. Flores will be in the unemployment line for two weeks max. He’s a good coach who overachieved with the roster he had. Tua is not the guy by any stretch.
  8. The oft repeated cliche about our bad run D just doesn’t have steam. We’re talking just a few big plays that, if we hadn’t overcommitted on, we’d have two more wins. You can’t stop everything. Darrick Henry and Jon Taylor excluded, this team has been decent against the run. This D is truly elite and we’ve seen sacks lately to boot. We may not stuff power run teams but you don’t have the highest differential in the league on a fluke.
  9. Superb physical skills. Offenses literally plan plays away from him. But he has bad instincts.
  10. Haaaccckkk! What’s going on with this guy?
  11. I really don’t understand why teams have to have a punter and a kicker.
  12. The Jets should be down 17 points.
  13. Diggs and Singetary = 🔥 Wildcat = lame Love the Allen-zen-AWS commercial
  14. Always worry about Billichick. But we should be more worried about teams with franchise QBs, like KC and Cinci.
  15. Agree. But why have 16? One regular season game could easily determine playoff status. We could enjoy the playoffs four months earlier and watch the Super Bowl before Halloween and Global Handwashing Day.
  16. 1st INT was just a bad decision. 2nd was just unlucky - the play broke down. Gotta stop the cutesy football in the second half and get down to business.
  17. Scoop: Falcons' Dean Pees plans to assassinate Josh Allen.
  18. To be fair, some, myself included, would not even have guessed it was slang. Hence, Google would not have been a first choice. Now that the rest of us are enlightened, we should use this dope lingo with our homies.
  19. Little known fact, Josh Allen is from the streets.
  20. What a fabulous game. Allen was near perfect, the line gave him time, the d line got some nice push, no major errors, and McKenzie/Motor … wow. Edmunds is a strange situation. When he wraps around a ball carrier, it’s noticeable. They also tend not to run plays his way. He’s a presence. My eye just gravitates to him, as it seems he’s given a lot of space to cover and then … he just disappears into the fray, like Homer Simpson into the bushes. I was thinking exactly same thing, he looks like he’s running straight into the blockers. More often than not, he also runs the opposite way the play is going to go. Good physical skills, bad football instincts? Despite the whining by so many posters, this is an elite defense. I agree, the Achilles’ heel is the run defense over committing. This has lead to some of the biggest runs against us all year. Watching Allen play compared to Lil Mac is a treat after all these years. This team’s a force.
  21. Incredible They got beat by a better team with a significantly better QB
  22. To make this simple, I’ll let you figure out which of these players is which sandwich. My go-to sandwich is a pastrami on rye. Yesterday, I had a meatball sub. It was delicious. I enjoyed it more than the pastrami on rye. I must never eat a pastrami on rye again.
