Why do so many otherwise classy Bills fans still drink LaBatt's with so many choices at their disposal? It's the Boone's Farm of lagers.

A few notes: Cam Newton scared me every time he ran. He had zero intuition about how to take a hit and looked awkward when he did - like a giraffe galloping in the savannah. It's like you expected him to break his leg and end up under a herd of lions. A truly awkward presence on and off the field. I second the comment about Elway. Mike Vick was a bad passer with bad form. Tyrod was "done as a starter" at 28 because he is of backup QB quality. He also had a freak injury caused by a DOCTOR. I know Roethlisberger wasn't a "running QB" per se but he held onto the ball forever and took massive hits before getting a new OC mid-late-career, who instructed him to lose weight and get rid of the ball quickly. I'd say his career went pretty long. Of all of these QBs, I'd say Allen most closely resembles him, although JA's talent is across the board better.

If Wawrow were a wide receiver in this press conference, he'd be Stevie Johnson dropping a wide open pass in the end zone.

I found this bit interesting: "The pilot of the jet ski was described as a disheveled-looking man in his 70s wearing a cutoff sweatshirt and sporting a slightly arrogant, mildly disinterested look on his face."

Giants and Barkley do not reach an agreement on a new contract

In related news, I could've sworn I saw Le'Veon Bell spinning signs advertising free ribs for a bbq restaurant in downtown Atlanta. -
Mods, this is likely false news. The headline should change.

Thad Brown the first to be offended by Josh
Just in Atlanta replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
Goodness. Bunch of sensitive posters here. He’s right, both in the critique and the solution. Theres a way to handle the news media. Adding fuel is not one of them. -
Got us over the hump but, as many here have said, he was even more cautious and risk averse than Trent Edwards. The Cleveland Browns played him in only a few games the next year. I'm sure most fans remember him fondly for the first playoff berth but, yes, he was frustrating to watch, particularly in that Jags game. Having said that, we should've kept him one more year. The idea of Nate Peterman being a bridge clearly blew up in our faces.

That's at least 12 people who have died this month in rip currents in the Gulf. Don't swim against one. Swim parallel to the shore. Or, if you can, wait for help. A rip current will not pull you under, only out. FWIW, I also wanted him as a Bill.

Per WGR, Bills cancel day 3 of minicamp

Stefon Diggs, however, has to do four days of minicamp. -
The Orchard Park Bills, East Rutherford Jets, Foxoboro Patriots (or Smyrna Braves) don't have the best ring.

Frazier made the Bills into a top 3 defense multiple years running with a regular season consistency that is rare. He failed, repeatedly, in the playoffs. Part, or a lot, of that blame (and praise) rests on the head coach. We fans have no clue where those nuances lie. On another note, taking a sabbatical does not mean lounging by the pool or playing xbox. He's looking at options. He is well liked and well respected, as far as I can tell. He'll become a head coach soon.

How will the defense be different this year?
Just in Atlanta replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Whatever it is, I don't want to see our CBs lined up 8-10 yards from their WRs. Goodness, that was painful to watch in the Cinci game. Other than that, I don't expect much - I feel as if these defenses have been his all along. Edmund's departure should change some things, not having that beast in the middle of the field ... what, I don't know. -
Oh, you.

I have no idea what this is. I love it!

Should Josh Allen be tougher on Diggs?
Just in Atlanta replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh Allen should take away his video games for a week. Perhaps a grounding. -
