This is wild. It was reported days ago that Detroit was impressed with Marvin Lewis and Bieniemy wanted nothing to do with Houston. Today it was reported that Saleh is the front runner for the NYJ. Looks like this one is waaaay off so far. The Bieniemy take especially throws me for a loop here.

I would have to take a deeper dive into who sits, but I would not be shocked if Yeldon AND Williams dress. This staff seems to hate Yeldon for whatever reason. With Moss out, I would not be surprised if they want a couple options to rotate in and out of the line up to see what works on game day.

This. Does he have the cannon that Allen has, or the ability to see a defense like Brady or Manning? No absolutely not. But he is more explosive than agile than Vick and is a good enough passer that you have to keep respecting it. He'll never pick you apart like Ryan or Rodgers, but he doesn't have to. People act like he is Tim Tebow with the way he can throw the ball. He is a much better passer than that. His biggest thorn if you are a defense is that he is so non-traditional, that nobody is built to stop it on a consistent basis. Who knows if it is sustainable long term. But it is good enough right now to make Baltimore a dangerous team.

Meh, perfect blue print to put up points, but ultimately the Bills went into the half with the lead after not starting a single drive outside their own 10 yard line. I trust this team in a shoot out. The only reason this game was so close was because of the field position in the first half. The defense is a major concern.

This is where I am at. Josh without a doubt deserves the most money in the group. But unsure if that is where the dust settles. I think Baker chases and demands the top deal. I don't get the sense that that is in Josh's ethos, to chase the largest deal possible that is. If we offer it, I am sure he signs the dotted line.

Meh, we are Debbie downers when the team plays poorly, and SB champs when they play well. Doesn’t matter if it’s a 6-10 season or the divisional round in the playoffs.

Between McKenzie vs. Miami and then Robert’s really doing a bad job on both returning and deciding when to bring it out, I am not sure what exactly we gain by reserving that KR/PR spot heading into next season. McKenzie has at least proven to have more tools in the tool box and fills in comparably to Robert’s.

Feels like Pitt might be able to do this.

Thanks. I was scrolling through their roster quick I must have looked at the wrong line on my phone. Looks like a FA. I’d consider kicking the tires as a back up next year if the team wanted to move in from Barkley.

Heineke looks decent and seems to be tough as nails. Dude is the 3rd QB and a rookie. Good for him. Wish he wasn’t a rookie under contract. Seems like a guy that would be a great back up for what we do in Buffalo.

Honestly, if you think he can help you, probably sit Robert’s. I love the dude, I think he’s quality, but I don’t think we miss much by bringing in McKenzie rather than a KR/PR specialist. I don’t have an opinion on it in reality. The sample size was just so small against a team that gave up. But it seems like we have times where we really struggle to run the ball in the early and mid parts of games. AW seemed to be a glimpse of part of that fix. I just don’t know if that’s a mirage.

I imagine a lot of 4-5 WR sets, and the possibility of everything running through Josh. Something like the first Jets game or the Chargers game. If Josh has to drop 300+ and rush 10-12 times, so be it.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. After the game I was amped it would be Indy, just because they don’t do anything scary....but they do do just about everything well. as we get closer to kick off nerves go up, and right now I am not sure I want any part of any AFC playoff team at the moment.

I’m nearly positive it’s been reported that the DB’s start every practice with dancing. So any talking head jumping to any conclusion, I think it’s status quo. Glad the team is coming together and not wound too tight. Reminds me of Cool Runnings when the Jamaican Bobsled found their groove entering the arena. It’s just always been who they are.

I get it, it was Miami, but given the flat/reduced cap this year if it’s between Robert’s or McKenzie, I am going with McKenzie all day long. Backs up an aging (but not old) Beasley well and can double on ST. Robert’s is one dimensional.
