I can’t believe I convinced my boss lady that driving to Newark (3 hours) tonight was a good idea, but she agreed! The gin fizz she made herself probably helped. Its 9:05 though. Looks like I lost, but boy was that an exciting 15 minutes while I waited. Ha!

If I am a HC looking at getting a second/last chance at a job I am running far far away from that Houston job. This. It’s not just a “get the right HC and GM in place” sort of situation. Their current ownership and GM are floating hiring Josh effing McCown as their HC. Let somebody else be the guinea pig to right the ship. Just like Buffalo had years of terrible management it wasn’t necessarily just McD who got us hear. Whether fans want to admit it or not Buddy, Gailey, Whaley, and Marrone were all part of the journey of at least getting back to respectability.

Man, I watched Bills tickets drop earlier today. Down to about $450 ea. I have the points to cover a last minute flight. I was greedily hoping they’d get under $400 and pull the trigger. They’re pushing back up to over $600 now. Ugh

He’s off the injury report entirely and is playing.

I wish the games were flipped and Buffalo was early. We beat KC and I am begging for Brady. We lose and the last thing I want is another TB SB.

I have a similar feeling re: the defense. I have this odd feeling they are going to ball out tomorrow and ensure we don’t need to get into a shoot out. Unsure about the offense. That probably means whoever picked the double OT game in the high 50’s is right.

I was confused about some of the takes as well. I expect it mid season. These guys are covering 32 teams with 12-16 different games per week. It’s a lot to get right. But shirt, man. There are 4 teams and 2 games left this weekend It shouldn’t be that hard to get this stuff right this time of year.

Wait, is this an effing joke? Bass has been on the injury report for a while now with a hand injury and practicing in full for a few weeks now. WTF could be going so wrong with his hand that we would need a back up just in case? Is it the beetus, is he going to lose his hand?

If you are going to be in the MVP conversation and be a top 5 QB, that makes sense. Maybe he gets a mild slight and pushes to the 15-25 mark? Anything worse than 25 and I think that would be a wild just based on position importance and ranking alone.

That is hilarious. Also would be terrifying. Maybe there is a sense of security being in your Honda Cr-V (or whatever), but you are basically stuck between 100 other CR-V's that might want to ram into you repeatedly. You can't just drive over an animal the size of an SUV to get away. Dead serious, if my family and friends wouldn't wear Bills jerseys to watch me play in the AFC Championship game, I wouldn't give them any tickets. They can buy their own at that point. I don't get the Baker hype. He is OK, he'll be a top half starter but always sit at the bottom of top 10 or just outside. He won't be nearly as good as Stafford but better than Jeff Garcia. Who ever the douchier version of a QB that falls in that spectrum, that is Baker Mayfield.
