If you are going to be in the MVP conversation and be a top 5 QB, that makes sense. Maybe he gets a mild slight and pushes to the 15-25 mark? Anything worse than 25 and I think that would be a wild just based on position importance and ranking alone. -
That is hilarious. Also would be terrifying. Maybe there is a sense of security being in your Honda Cr-V (or whatever), but you are basically stuck between 100 other CR-V's that might want to ram into you repeatedly. You can't just drive over an animal the size of an SUV to get away. Dead serious, if my family and friends wouldn't wear Bills jerseys to watch me play in the AFC Championship game, I wouldn't give them any tickets. They can buy their own at that point. That is seriously messed up. 2 favorite parts about that video. Love that Belichick made it slamming the phone. Also love the lady smoking in the stands. What an era

I don't get the Baker hype. He is OK, he'll be a top half starter but always sit at the bottom of top 10 or just outside. He won't be nearly as good as Stafford but better than Jeff Garcia. Who ever the douchier version of a QB that falls in that spectrum, that is Baker Mayfield. -

Something tells me this award will piss JA off. He feels like he deserves his moment. "Most Improved" feels like a participation trophy. -

Shirt man, where is #BillsMafia for this guys go fund me. -
Stills, maybe, but that is just based on Davis not practicing at all this week. I don't get the Freeman whispers I have read on the board this week. Did I miss a Singletary or Yeldon injury? I have no proof, but I get the sense that McD is a big loyalty guy when it comes bringing guys up from the PS last minute. If a player has been grinding for him for an entire season, that is the player that is getting the call more often than not. Freeman would have to be embarrassing Williams, Yeldon, etc. daily before he gets the nod.

Concussions aside, doctors generally don't treat injuries when it comes to sports medicine. The team doctor does not treat a torn ACL, strained hamstring, or high ankle sprain. In a lot of cases, they won't even be apart of the diagnosis, let alone recovery. A very good S&C coach should be able to manage injuries and the actual strength and conditioning. Obviously that changes as roster sizes increase, but they are not different skill sets per se. If your athletes are lifting really poorly, you are going to have a super difficult time helping them recover from a herniated disc, etc. Movement is at the heart of most injury and recover in the NFL, there are less broken arms and legs than their are ACL's, hamstrings pulls etc. Lifting weights would be the easiest way for the casual fan to visualize that a lot of NFL players suck at movement under tension.

That is actually not true, like at all, and is true across most of the sport. I could go on a long diatribe, but the easiest way to explain the physiologists and medical care in the NFL is to watch any clips of NFL players in the weight room. Football players are big and strong, and notoriously terrible technical weight lifters. And that is how American Football is approached, just do more, rub some dirt on it, tape it up, give a shot, then do some more. Football in the US has the most money, but they don't provide the best care. US Ski and Snowboard get some of the best doctors in the country. Great Britain and Australia have the best physiology programs in the world. There are a handful of other European programs that do really well. Mahomes, Allen, Tre, etc. coming back to play professional football 7 days from a concussion isn't actually a feather in the cap for healthcare in the NFL, it is a giant scar.

To my super stooopid and untrained eye, the thing holding the Bucs back from being firmly mentioned as the best team in the NFC is Bruce Arians. Bare with me here. Bucs play like a collection of great players, not a team. Their defense is top notch, but offensively it looks like Brady is playing in BA's system, they don't look like they are on the journey together. It looks like Brady runs the plays in BA's playbook and calls the plays asked at the line. They aren't terribly methodical which is Brady's strong suit.
