QB, OL, DL, and LB are priorities, and all need to be addressed in this draft. Everything else is icing on the cake.

Trouble in the Talley household?
Happy replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That was a downer. I can't help but to think that the same thing is happening with other former players whose spouses don't have a blog, so no one will ever know. -
Billicheat ripped Gronkowski for using TB12 Method

I think they all should train at McDonald's clinic this off season, show up at camp 50 lbs overweight and way out of shape...just in spite of Belichick. -
I doubt the Raiders end up letting him go. But if they do, and depending on how we address the LB position in the draft, I'd be all for going after him.

Love that it appears we have a strategy...
Happy replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Most are gone because either of lack of fit in McDermott's offense or defense scheme and/or bad contract structure, and not because they were terrible football players. -
Rumble Ponies...when did that happen? When I lived in Binghamton, they were the Mets. The Binghamton Mets never had a presence as big as Tebow on the team, at least not that I remember. But Tebow should probably be a college football analyst.

That's fine, let him be on IR in NE.

Three weeks...I wish it were three days. I've been trying to ignore the insanity and noise, which seems like it is only getting louder.

You're right: "The chocolate chip cookie was invented by the American chef Ruth Graves Wakefield and chef Sue Brides in 1938. She invented the recipe during the period when she owned the Toll House Inn, in Whitman, Massachusetts. In this era, the Toll House Inn was a popular restaurant that featured home cooking." But oatmeal cookies have been screwed up for quite a while: "Raisins and nuts were added to the mix somewhere around the Middle Ages to make the cakes tastier. The first recorded oatmeal raisin cookie recipe was written by Fannie Merritt Farmer in 1896, according to Cookies.com."

Yeah, the Pats* struck lightening in a bottle with Brady; I bet they won't be able to repeat that. Brady and Kraft have some side deal, which is beside the point. I was thinking along the lines of poor FO and HC selections. Horrible drafting and FA pickups for years. That is how the Bills screwed themselves.

This sounds a lot like the church I attend. It is a non-denominational Christian church which meets in a middle school auditorium. There is a stage where a live band (electric guitars, drums, bass, keyboard, and vocalists) performs worship music for the first 15 minutes, followed by a few minutes of brief announcements, then 40 or so minutes of a relevant sermon which addresses real life issues and how God fits in to your everyday life. In my opinion, this type of church is gaining in popularity since it actually teaches something and opens your eyes to what you weren't seeing. It's casual (the pastors are everyday guys who are easy to relate to) and non judgmental, which resonates with a lot of folks. I look forward to church on Sundays now. I was raised Catholic, went to church every Sunday growing up, made the Sacraments, but never really understood the meaning behind faith. I became a bit disillusioned with the Catholic Church and attended sporadically as an adult. I didn't see the point of a redundant hour long ceremony each week where I didn't feel like I got something out of it. To this day, I still haven't mentioned this to my mom, who is an old school Catholic - don't question the Catholic Church and follow what they say - since my grandparents immigrated from Italy and were strict Catholics who brought my mom and her siblings up the same way. Asking 'why', thinking for myself, and acting on an urge to grow is one of the best things I've done in life. I encourage others to do the same.

Why do people insist on putting raisins in an oatmeal cookie? It just ruins a perfectly good oatmeal cookie. Use chocolate chips instead, or even nothing; either way, it would be much better than raisins.

Is there a team that is a bigger thorn in our side? A lot of it is the Bills own doing, but still, they won't just go away.

Moving up to #2 = No Playoffs for the next three years
Happy replied to Domdab99's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I want a franchise QB like everyone else, but the OP is correct in that there are too many holes to fill by trading up to the top five and giving up our other first (#22), a bunch of other picks, and a first NEXT draft. Next year's draft will be a bit lean for us if we move up that high, and why the OP is correct in saying the next 2-3 years will be disappointing. If we have to move up a couple (9-10) to get a guy we are really high on then fine, it won't cost too much. I'd prefer to stay at 12 and 22 and draft BPA. To those saying the Rams did it with Goff, well yeah, but they were one and done in the playoffs. Also, no one has been more active in FA than the Rams. McD and Beane have stated they want to build through the draft. Giving away picks on a gamble isn't building through the draft. And the Eagles were lucky that they had a good backup QB in Foles that happened to outscore Brady. The Eagles secondary is still a huge hole they haven't been able to fill, most likely because they haven't had the picks to do so the past two drafts. -
I think we need to draft another DE and DT that will make an impact this season. Hughes can't get enough done without a supporting cast.

Rex Ryan expects the Bills to make huge offer for #2.
Happy replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It shouldn't. Rex is proving himself to be just as much of a blowhard idiot now as he was 2 - 3 years ago. But he's perfect for ESPN, just say some **** and something will stick. -
Zay Jones Tweets "thankful to be alive"
Happy replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well, now there's a silver lining that should brighten things for Zay in an otherwise embarrassing situation...another dude on TBD admirers his posterior side. -
If anyone in the top 5 wants a QB, they're not trading out, especially down to 12.

ANY hit with crown of helmet - Automatic 15 yards
Happy replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Also the same thing with RBs. I've seen many instances where the RB will address the oncoming defender with his helmet. -

Yep. I can see games taking even longer, initially. Training camp and defense practice sessions during the season will probably focus a lot more on tackling fundamentals. Amazing how many players still lead with the crown of the helmet, which is noticeable while watching the games.
