Right here pal! I HATE Tom Timbo!
-
You made me LOL and scare my co-workers. Wait...so if you grandmother had a penis, she should would be your grandfather? Then who would you grandfather be? Are we just supposed to forget about him? Or is he willing to explore new things and perhaps doesn't mind a little man bits in his woman soup??

I agree but the problem is no rivalry exists between us and the Pats if we can't beat them. When the other team is laughing about you on the sideline, it's not a rivalry. So I think to some degree as this team gets better, if Fitz can put a W up over the Pats (looking more like next year than this year) then i think we will see a real rivalry spark up with New England. Miami just doesn't have the same easy to hate players anymore. I think I really just hated Cox more than the Dolphins lol. Still, SQUISH THE FISHHH!!!!

Agreed. There are too many young receivers out there itching to make a name for themselves. Look at Stevie Johnson and how he was buried on our depth chart a couple of seasons ago. These guys who are locker room cancers need to be gone. Yes they are both talented but someone else will come along.

ESPN's Power Rankings Week 15
Van_phelaN1 replied to Dorkington's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My favorite part is the line from Clayton about missing a chance to draft Andrew Luck. Can someone get Clayton a script for the NFL post week 6 please? -
I agree. It is up to the coaching staff to determine if his numbers are more a result of a struggling offense with injuries or his personal inconsistencies. It would be interesting to see how many "drops" the receivers have been credited with. Either way, you can't go on just stats or just guts, he has to have both.

Yeah, retiring after having your pass intercepted in the NFC Championship game that costs your team a trip to the super bowl is just like retiring after winning back to back super bowls.
-
Except for a ton of shows that are better than The Shield...

TRENT completed a 20+ yard pass to Robert Royal. Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

The QB position has just as much to do with all the traits he possesses and his ability to have guys follow him. A lot of that is how he presents himself to his team, coaches and media. Based pure on what happens between the white lines, Peyton Manning crushes Tom Brady but who has more rings? Mental toughness is just as important to be a QB in this league. Stop trolling.

Bills/Browns game viewed as so bad by CBS
Van_phelaN1 replied to Albany,n.y.'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yup, Albany loves the Bills. And to those who need a place to watch, if you head to McGeary's on Pearl Street. I hear that is where the local Bills Backers like to meet up. Haven't been myself. -

Yeah I am in Albany too. Big time Jets and Giants area. Still, you would think a New York based team would get aired around here over Pitt. Then again you have to take into consideration that the Jets losing on MNF puts them in a Wild Card spot had the season ended today. So I guess it makes sense to play the games of teams in other divisions that are leading their division or wild card race. -
Grown @$$ Men fighting over a GAME

I love how the guy at the end goes down and like 4 dudes have to throw punches on him. Yeah they're real tough. The idiot with the camera is even worse talking **** and laughing like a girl while having nothing to do with anything. Truly sad. -
I think it is a little early to declare him a back up RB just yet he is a rookie after all. If he can learn the game and studies and works hard he as all the talent in the world to be a star. I will however agree with you that I wouldn't have made that pick and there wasn't a T I thought was valued high enough with it. Then again I guess there are reasons why I am not an NFL coach
-
We can only hope it is his last play to ensure this replay gets shown over and over for years It won't be though you know they will let him get to 300.

I was at the game in 2006. Made the drive from Albany with no sleep and my buddy and I didn't know at the time that the tickets we had fallen in to were actually for the executive box. We thought we were going to be outside. So needless to say we were the only loud obnoxious drunks in the suite and people hated us lol.

Is he wasting energy or wasting time? There is a difference between defending them and stating facts the FACTS are that they were improving. Just because they were still bad doesn't make the statement false. If you are really wasting energy trying to rip somebody down because they have the ability to see things objectively while you just place things in the "bad" or "good" category on a message board (on which you yourself have over 5,000 posts) then you've got too much time on your hands as well.

In order for a franchise to be successful in LA they have to win. It is a Laker town because the Lakers win. It has nice weather with things to do besides watching sports. An expansion team in LA would never work because nobody would want to go to the games. Bring in a team like the Vikings who already have a superstar to market in A.P. and you have yourselves luxury boxes being sold out to big name actors and so forth. There is a reason Jack Nicholson isn't sitting at the Clippers games. However I agree, the fans always get screwed. It's a business and businesses are about money. the NFL wants a successful franchise in LA and if the NFL has ever been popular enough to pull it off, it is now.

Giants' Rolle: booing us like booing US soldiers
Van_phelaN1 replied to Golden Wheels's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dear Professional Athletes, There is a reason that "coach speak" exists. It is so you don't have to say things like this. Also, I don't care if I paid 300 dollars for the ticket or if my buddy gave me a free ticket, if you are disappointing me with your play on the field I am going to boo you. Stop crying about it, nobody feels bad for you. -
Yes but that still doesn't mean teams are not dbl covering and have a saftey over the top just in case. He can have the worst year EVER and it doesn't change that he is fast and can burn you if you leave him alone on those fly routes. It helps Stevie and everybody else believe me.

What did you do when Stevie dropped the TD?
Van_phelaN1 replied to UB2SF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
While watching him run the end of the route and the ball in the air I knew surely it was a catch. I rose to my feet with my hands in the air YES...YES...YES...and then *BoInK* drop. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Dropped to my knees. Then I laughed as I watch Ryan Fitzpatrick's reaction in the reply as it exactly the same as the one i had. Right up to the part where I have to inform my celebrating gf that the ball was actually dropped. I got caught laughing by my friend though and he confronted me and asked me what was funny about dropping a game winning TD pass in OT? I told him nothing was funny and that i take this **** serious. I don't want to get embarassed out there at home in front of everybody who was there! -
Carolina Panthers to Take Luck?

I think Doc Brown showed up in the Delorean and leaked the future to ESPN. That is where all of their insider information comes from. -
Carolina Panthers to Take Luck?
Van_phelaN1 replied to saundena's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Please go look at the record for the Bills the first year the Jim Kelly played (1986, not the USFL numbers)...Didn't he turn out okay? Also: Brees started all 16 games for the Chargers during the 2002 season, leading the team to an 8-8 record. After a disappointing start to the 2003 season he was replaced by Flutie. those guys were proven winners in the NFL as soon as they got on the scene right? Not only that but I am pretty sure I have never seen anybody here compare Fitz to Tom Brady. In fact most posts about Fitz are positive but note that he can still(and needs to) improve. So...yeah...
