  1. Ladies and Gentlemen may I present to you the Andy Kaufman of TSW.
  2. He was locking on to his receivers from the snap. The 49er defenders were all over every pass he made and the only ones he completed were when a guy was either WIDE open or they made a great play on a ball and saved an interception. Remind you of anybody? Also yes, I believe Gruden may have had some juice
  3. What does winning a Super Bowl have to do with being compared to 1986? Or Jim Kelly or Marv Levy for that matter?
  4. No, they are just like the sports writer's out there. Let's just throw a previously determined opinion of a team's capabilities out there and comment on it without looking at the facts. Remember how god awful the Bills were in the media beginning this season? Now all of the sudden we are the "play every team hard" Bills who "fight to the end." Now you can't go anywhere without hearing THAT statement. Same thing here.
  5. In general I think you have a point. I have noticed myself in the 3 OT games that Chan is letting Fitz air it out but I think yesterday was more about the wind. I remember the broadcasters saying at the beginning of OT that the wind was now at the back of the Steelers and GUSTING in to the face of the Bills. I don't know how much that played a factor (watching on TV in albany and not at the Ralph) but with Lindell missing like he has, maybe Chan was more confident in Fitz and Stevies ability to get the job done and to be fair the lack of a catch doesn't prove him wrong. Obviously the play call was correct on that shot but when it was dropped I feel like maybe the team kind of lost the momentum.
  6. Agreed. I understand the frustration with this team among the younger fans because we don't understand. I am only 26 myself so I was a little baby during those years. But I have been a fan of the league this whole times as well and have watched plenty of teams rebuild and go through the horrors of it. DJ had his chance to build a squad but could never get over the hump with those 7 and 9 seasons and so now we are back where we started. To be honest I have enjoyed watching the games this year much more than the DJ years of 7 and 9. I can see that this team will be a force to be reckoned with in a few years. The guys in the locker room have bought in. It is just a shame that some of these guys playing their hearts out right now won't be around to enjoy when the hard work finally pays off. Also, I get it that people think the defense is terrible, but Kyle Williams deserves to be in the pro bowl IMO. Just look at all the holding calls he creates and how he pushes the line back into QB's face on a regular basis. The guy is a warrior. End of story.
  7. I don't see why there are so many different points of view on this topic. He tripped and fell. It happens. It isn't going to change anything now anyway. They had plenty of opportunities to put that game away and they even literally let the win slip through their fingers. Just wasn't in the cards for them I guess. You can say Moats tripped McKelvin, McKelvin ran too fast but after all was said and done they were still in a position to win, went to make the play later on and failed. These are the reasons this team is 2-9. I don't blame McKelvin or Moats. It just...well...happened...
  8. 1) Miami went 1 and 15 but were a much better team then the record indicated (much like the Bills now) 2) They went to the playoffs the next season and then the season after that they went...back to mediocrity...and even more recently with injuries, back to bad once again. 3) the 2007 Atlanta Falcons were 4-12 at the end of the season. I am sure if they wanted to lose a couple of extra games to move up to #1 overall they could have but didn't because you just DONT do that. Coincidentally that brings me to... 4) Matt Ryan was selected 3rd overall. So that whole having to have the number one overall pick to get a franchise QB thing is the real BS around here. I won't even bother to mention when Brady got drafted. You're going to LOL your own post? Oh so you are THAT guy. He didn't say that there ISN'T a difference but that the difference is not WORTH tanking over to only move a few picks. But that's okay we are just a bunch of sillies being silly with silliness.
  9. I am starting to believe that Chan only played Edwards so that we would all fall in love with Fitz in comparison.
  10. ...you forgot playing against college level talent. I will stay with Evans for now thanks. I agree with the line and some pass rushers though. I don't see the purpose in trading evans and using a high pick to replace him. I am waiting to see what happens with Lee when teams start rolling coverage to Stevie.
  11. What is funny about this post is that you are the one who actually comes off looking like he knows nothing about football. Bradford? Really? Yeah look at that amazing elite shuffle pass he made on Sunday. I am not saying Fitz is a franchise QB but I think people need to start admitting that he is better than they gave him credit for and he has more potential to improve even though everyone kept saying "no upside." People were wrong and now they want to start with this "oh but I love Fitz. I just don't think he is the guy, but i do like him and uh." Keep back peddling guy. Oh and if you want to talk about elevating the play of everyone on the field you only need to look back at how well Johnson and Parrish played with out previous QB. I was down on Fitz and said all of this stuff from day one and how he was not the guy and was as good as he was going to get. Well guess what, I was WRONG. He might not be headed to the Hall of Fame but we were wrong when we assumed he was a career back up. At least I am man enough to admit it.
  12. Plus the Bills Shout is a little different than just playing the original song anyway. It is still a Bills thing if you ask me. No reason to get upset. Although if it helps someone hate the Jets I am all for it. I would rather spoil the Pats run to the playoffs than the jets though. We have had recent success against the Jets. I would kill to watch Fitzmagic and the Joker end this streak against Brady and at the same time send him golfing this post season. Talk about turning around a losing culture.
  13. Are you going to cry about it?
  14. Not until we have to, I don't want him to get too fat and happy. I think Johnson and Fitz are a package deal though. They even said the chemistry they developed on the second team reps have a lot to do with the success we are having now. I also noticed he is smart about going down when he knows he is caught. Working out of the slot taught him about that one I bet lol. Not wanting to get hit by several fast running Cadillacs sized men? Sounds like a smart idea to me
  15. Dude, why so serious? You sound like a bit of a downer lol BUT I admit that you are 100 percent correct. I think we stand a chance in this game just like we did when we played Baltimore. This game will help tell a lot about who is for real and who isn't on this football team.
  16. The problem with Lee is that defenses know what he IS capable of and have plenty of film on the routes he is best at and everything else. So the coverage shift is always going to locate lee evans on the field. Look what happens when they don't. Fitzy is definitely NOT afraid to throw the long ball so teams are going to take that away first which benefits SJ and the slot receiver. I am sure after a few more games like this and we will see Lee Evans get more involved as the coverages might start shifting over to SJ. Just MHO.
  17. If you listen to Stevie Johnson's interviews he is always throwing all the credit on how Fitz is just finding a place to put the ball for him to make a play. I think it is time to recognize that these WR's a benefiting greatly from Fitz's play in this offense. If TE is still in there, Johnson is still a nobody.
  18. I have been saying for a long time that the white helmet with the charging buffalo is the best looking helmet this team has ever used. I agree that the jersey is god AWFUL and having the logo right on the front makes is look like some arena team jersey. The colors are A+ though. It looks like the same shade of blue as the throwback jerseys. All in all I say we throw on the white helmet (chargin buffalo) and the old 90's unis and that would be a great look. Just my opinion.
  19. The sad fact in all this is that NFL "fans" in the stadiums are usually just a bunch of drunk !@#$s looking for a good time or a fight. I have been to games here and there and I can tell you this much, there are far too many idiots who don't know what is going on in the game and are too busy being obnoxious and not enough real fans that appreciate competition and can enjoy a game of football even around fans of other teams while LOSING. It is just a game. There is no reason to talk **** and threaten to beat up somebody for cheering for their team. When I was at the Ralph for the opening weekend there was a Dolphins fan a few rows ahead of me and my gf who was from Canada and was at his first EVER NFL game to see his beloved dolphins. when he saw his seats he was so excited and started hugging his buddies (wearing a san diego and san fran jersey, this game was their bday preset to him) I smiled because I know that first game feeling. I took pictures for the guys, shared a few laughs and high fives and said enjoy the game guy. Then some pure grade a meathead Bills fans come in and immediately started trying to pick a fight and did so the whole games long. This isn't "poking fun" they were pouring beer on him (which i cant even imagine doing seeing how much they paid for them) and pushing him and everything else. It was sad. This example makes Bills fans look bad, but at the same time I hope he remembers that some Bills fans (me) are respectful people. Sure I was talking some trash about the Dolphins to the guy but come on man. I drink when i go to the games, and yes i do get a bit tipsy like everyone else, but tackling an 8 year old? If I was at the Ralph, in all my nice fresh Bills gear, and I saw some kid wearing a Tom Brady Jersey got tackled by a full grown Bills fan, I would beat the **** out of them myself. If they have a nice Kelly throwback, I will take their jersey when I am done and wear it home...or to the police station My loyalty to my team runs deep but at the end of the day I am a man. The same can not be said of someone who attacks a child.
  20. Agreed. The Bills are not even close to as bad as the Panthers are right now. They would even be 4-5 if they knew how to close out games. I just don't see them having the worst record in the league by the time the season is over. But Luck supporters can cling to the hope of losing if you want to. I have been wrong before
  21. So you said there would be 3 reasons Fitz should be... Although you never mention what it is he should be, you did give an extra two reasons for whatever it is, so I am inclined to believe you. wooOOOooooOOOOaah....dude....like..............duuuuuuude......
  22. I think it was more of an excuse for him to talk about Jack Kemp with the game being in D.C. But yes I love how Boomer always shows some love for the Bills and all the old AFL teams in general.
