I agree. I think Johnson has a bit of swagger about him. He plays with a chip on his shoulder which I like but he does make some stupid mistakes. Good coaching should take care of that. I have seen him drop some easy balls but then I have seen him make impressive catches. If Nelson can translate to regular season production out of what I have seen so far we might have a real talent emerging here. The great part about having a team as bad as we have is the ability to see it getting built from scratch. As a 26 year old fan I was young for the Superbowl years. I almost feel like this is my right of passage, to endure this rebuilding process lol.

In order to "rebuild" something doesn't one have to "tear it down" first?

I got to work yesterday and somebody thought it would be funny to put a paper bag with holes cut out of the eyes and the words "Poor Bills Fan" with a little tear drop drawn on under one of the eyes... I assume it was a Jets or Giants fan. Still, it ALWAYS burn their asses when you point out that they make their home in New Jersey.

You know what? When I read this I can't help but noticed that he only mentioned Trent Edwards when he listed which was playing what game. You turned it into a Trent apology in your own head. The offense plays bad against good defenses no matter who the QB is. I think you hate Trent so much that you are seeing ghosts of him in posts. You might want to seek professional help about that.

There is flat out no WAY he gets fired after this year. Even if he goes win-less his job is secure for now. People have to remember that this isn't even close to being his team. Look at who we drafted this past year. So far that is Chan's team (the ones who made it) and everybody else on this roster are players he inherited. He has to have a chance to build his team and THEN fail before he gets fired. Some of these media people are comical.

You can also add this year's schedule being the 3rd toughest in the league. Although, we haven't even hit the worst part of it yet

The real issue is you come on here and act like you are the only person who can see the team is bad. Just because I don't come on this board and thrash the "Front Office" over every decision (like they are listening to you or care what you think anyway) If you think you can do a better job then go throw you resume in Ralph's mailbox and spare us your captain obvious assessments. To suggest that someone is a "homer" just because they think a team is overrated is dumb. I thought the Bengals were overrated coming in to this season and so far it appears that I was right. Does that make me a homer? or do I HAVE to be wrong and does it HAVE to be an opinion about a rival franchise to constitute as homerism? (three cheers for inventing words and creatures)

Okay, the guy is gone, he is riding on the bench behind David Garrard and the only time the camera was on him he had his hands in his collar looking about as into the game as he did when he started in Buffalo and his haircut is ridiculous. Nothing will ever surprise me again with this team, even if they traded Evans for an egg salad sandwich. Still, I doubt it is in the plans to trade him away.

I unfortunately live 4 hours away and can't come to every game. However I just decided that the next time I come up I am going to use your front lawn to dump all my trash after the game. When Ralph stops putting trash on the field, people might stop leaving trash in his parking lots.

But it is not a public company. So your whole argument is pointless. The fans deserve accountability? No we don't! We deserve a better product. Buddy Nix doesn't work for us fans he works for Ralph Wilson. Now if want to say that Ralph owes us something then I might be more inclined to side with you there. At the end of the day, if you don't like the product, don't buy the merchandise. Nobody owes you anything.

I was there for all of it and I share your frustration. However, I am not going to waste my time talking about how bad my team is. I can see that on my own. If I choose to be optimistic (about the one or two players that are worth it on this roster lol) then I am going to be. I guess at the same time you have every right to come on here and blast the coaching staff. Being a fan is a beautiful thing ain't it?

As much as I have to agree that my beloved Bills are in fact a laughing stock, I still think Jim Rome is a talentless hack. Always have. I don't think the show is hilarious and it isn't me not "getting it." It isn't to hard to "get." I just think his delivery is dry and half the time It feels like he is just reading it off the prompter going through the motions. He has that ONE inflection with his voice he uses for every punchline. I get it, it's really just not that funny. Sorry. Cowherd would be a better business talk show host.

So is it Whitner's fault that he was consistantly having to provide the stopping tackle in run support? I agree the guy isn't all all star but he isn't the reason those backs were getting all the way to him to make a tackle. Truth be told I did enjoy a few things I saw yesterday. I Liked how Fitzy (as he always does) plays with fire. Doesn't slide, puts the head down and plows forward. That doesn't make up for anything but if I am sure a guy like Nelson in there would help. Did you see how fired up he was after those catches. Get this young man more involved in the offense if possible. I just wish Fitz had TE's accuracy to go along with his mentality lol. If only would could combine the two of them we might have had a decent qb lol.
