  1. Darby was awesome. Hopefully he continues on this path instead of flaming out like a couple of our other young rookie defensive studs have over the last couple of years (Kiko, Preston, looking at you)
  2. It'd be interesting to see league wide numbers for the last 10 years or so, vs just the Bills.
  3. This poll is showing that the vocal minority seems to control the conversation around here.
  4. I'm good with what we have. We have bigger needs, limited cap space, and only so many draft picks.
  5. 8-6, top 10 in many categories, his first year starting, and he's 'ok' Man, tough crowd.
  6. The cynic in me says it'd just encourage even more dangerous hits, and the concussions would stick around because of it :|
  7. Even when he loses, he wins in the eyes of the lord.
  8. All he does is win... Tyrod hasn't won a playoff game. I think we should cut Tyrod and sign Tebow.
  9. Hopefully Tyrod can continue developing next year, and the rest of the team (defense, mostly) will get on board with success.
  10. As a liberal, I have mixed feelings on Obama. I give him a C+ My criticisms: He's been ineffective in getting both sides of congress to play along. The ACA is a bandaid, when we need something like a single payer system. Like many politicians he flip flopped on gay rights until it became fashionable to support. The sloppy drone strikes have not made us any friends in the middle east, and likely made our standing in the area worse over there. We still haven't really invested in public infrastructure. Middle and lower class incomes have largely stagnated. Positives: ACA is at least a step in the right direction, there's more young people and poor people with access to some sort of care at least, but still, see above. He's done a good job (eventually) putting pressure on society to support equal rights, and has been a visible supporter of better treatment of minorities and women. Being that I'd prefer us pull out of the ME at this point, I'm glad we haven't gone full boots on the ground in Libya and Syria. Unemployment numbers are going in the right direction. I'm sure I could go into more on both sides, but I'd get torn a new one here, like usual
  11. If he was better, do you think he'd be without a NFL job for much of the last two-three seasons?
  12. After reading that story, I kinda like the Ryan boys being back together. I feel ashamed.
  13. I like the Raiders in Oakland and the Chargers in San Diego, so hopefully something can change... never liked the Rams move to St. Louis, though, so I'm glad they're back in LA. I'm inconsistent.
  14. Man, sounds like I shouldn't even watch it... did he kick everyone's pets & children live on TV or something?
  15. Jerry isn't dirty, he just gets emotional. I'm totally fine with him, because that emotion is related to his relentless drive, and his relentless drive creates havoc for us.
  16. Can he be a player-coach? Be our 4th Safety or something?
  17. So our best defensive coach leaves, our worst takes over that unit, and Rob Ryan (a joke of a DC) takes over DC duties?
  18. Someone's gonna give him money and a chance at starting... we are not that someone.
  19. "Maybe next year" But with more gusto.
  20. I make about 3x what I made when Obama took office. Thanks Obama.
  21. Honestly I'm going to be pretty cynical no matter what happens in the off-season. I'm just at that point.
  22. Hopefully the Pegulas can find a way to settle and make things right.
  23. I support this. It'll suck at first, because a lot of judgment calls will be made in error, but I think eventually players will change their tackling technique.
  24. As much as I was displeased with how this season went, I'm pretty happy with our talent levels on the team. I'm willing to give Doug and Rex a few more years, to see if we can do it. I want to see some continuity for a while. If it fails, then so be it, we start over (again), but I don't think much will be gained by changing coaches every couple of years, and GMs every three years.
