  1. Wow the wind really killed that pass.
  2. Well this is gonna be a high scoring game.
  3. Marrone/Schwartz kicked Rex's ass... I'm not sure I want this to happen
  4. To be fair, Trump has had nothing to do with any sort of American international policy, whereas the Clintons and Obama have... so I say it's pretty impressive that Trump is showing up, means the world is taking him seriously.
  5. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/jan/2/donald-trump-appears-in-new-terrorism-recruiting-v/ Well, his popularity is growing.
  6. I'll take a large WR/athletic TE to complement our current players. But really I think we need to get some LBs and a DE first.
  7. I think he's improved every game since coming back, he's solid CB depth, and probably solid safety depth... why not keep good/solid players?
  8. I don't feel great about it, because I'm super disappointed in Rex's first year. BUT, I do subscribe to giving stability a chance... so my brain says to stick with Rex and Doug for at least a couple more years, to see what happens.
  9. He kept the Bills in Buffalo at least...
  10. I just don't understand how Mario's skill dropped so much from last year to this. Is he injured? Purely a mental thing? And if he's playing so bad, why is he still playing?
  11. Oh neat, you can play with the roster here: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/tools/roster/buffalo-bills/2016/ Doesn't include rollover money, and the cap is likely inaccurate... but still fun Getting rid of Mario, Carp, Leodis, and A.Williams gets us $20m... but also leaves us with some pretty major holes. And that's without rollover, an incorrect cap, and no renegotiation of Clay's contract (or Kyle's) If that tool is at all accurate, things are much more optimistic than I originally thought!
  12. My uninformed take: If we're tight on cap it makes no sense to release EJ, he's about as good as any other back up out there, and he's guaranteed I think Mario I could see being gone, unless he renegotiates. Which probably means we need to draft a stud DE. I doubt Kyle renegotiates, he's already not being paid that much* for his skill level, even though he's older. (yes I know this is debatable) Gilmore is signed in 2016, I think. We need to retain Glenn and Incognito, imo. Not really sold on Bradham in Rex's system, but if he's cheaper than a potential replacement, we might retain. McKelvin is good depth, but expensive. I'd attempt to extend/renegotiate at a cheaper price, if not, cut. Aaron Williams would be a big cap hit if cut, so he sticks around unless he retires. We'll end up with some money to play with, but we're definitely not going to be big players this year, unless a trade frees up a lot of money. We were 'all in' for this season, and it fell on it's face. It'll be a few more years before we have space to make the moves necessary to be a contender, or until we get new coaches.
  13. Absolutely agree that Tyrod needs to work on the quick/short passing game. But I disagree with the notion we should force that when we're generally successful running the ball. It'd be like telling a team with a QB that can do the short game well, that they need to pass less and force the run more, even though their running attack isn't great.
  14. I didn't say that. You, like the other idiots around here, have no understanding of reality.
  15. This has been something that has long bothered me about our team. Most of our players are looking to put a big hit on someone, instead of making a sound tackle. Another mark against our coaching staff.
  16. We averaged 22 points per game in our losses. Our team has averaged 21 points per game total. Our defense gives up 23 points per game (for the year), last year our team gave up 18 points per game. I think the problem is our defense, not if Tyrod throws the ball enough. But hey, let's force Tyrod to throw the ball a bunch.
  17. We're ranked T6th in the league in yards per play. Why do we need to throw it a billion times?
  18. I have a feeling that rating is gonna drop this weekend, Jets are looking mighty good. That being said, what a hell of a first season starting!
  19. Buffalo Bills Slogan: Next year, baby.
  20. This place never fails to be entertaining... and stress inducing.
  21. Woods and Hogan definitely have places on NFL rosters. I'd see us getting another legit WR, hopefully with some size, and Woods/Hogan are the dependable depth guys, and someone like Harvin, if you get him cheap enough, is the every now and then home run hitter.
  22. If he's cheap, hell yeah. He's a highly productive player when healthy. But at this year's contract? Hell no. It'd be low priority, so I can't say if $3m is ok or not until we fill other needs.
  23. So, statistically, he's generally a top third QB... but the ole EYE TEST he's a bottom third QB? Well, alright.
  24. Damn. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
