  1. It's pretty damning that with how easy the game has gotten for QBs over the years, we have to go all the way back to Kelly to see stats that match Tyrod's.
  2. Somebody's always willing to overpay, we can't really afford to overpay.... so hopefully Cordy gives us a bit of a break.
  3. Hey, take it up with the OP, I don't know what's going to happen.
  4. Is this thing still going on? I imagine the militia is about ready to go home. Glad it's being handled without violence, but the whole thing has been kind of stupid from the start.
  5. Tyrod throwing before/at the break is a good sign. Either he recognized Watkins was going to be open, or he's developing enough trust in Watkins to make a play even if he's not open.
  6. I know, I was joking along... I'm terrible at joking along. Leroi?
  7. Well, no. But what does that have to do with anything?
  8. So we lose talent, and the schedule gets harder, and you still predict 8-8? You sound like an optimist! Congrats buddy!
  9. I have to wonder if people just make **** up to force the team to either confirm (by not denying it), or refute (by denying it).
  10. Excellent news, Whaley is good imo. Rex on the otherhand....
  11. We're tied for 6th in the league in yards per play. We could use some improvement on 3rd downs, but overall I think our offense is clicking. Our defense is where we need to 'get better'.
  12. For all of you whining about our offensive production sucking because we don't throw the ball 40 times a game... http://www.pro-football-reference.com/years/2015/#team_stats::6
  13. Swap out a couple of starters, and a handful of depth players, and a lot can change without it being a "full overhaul".
  14. Really happy about Schmidt and Gillislee, I was actually worried Gillislee was going to be signed by someone else with how he performed (minus the final game). The rest of the guys... cool, camp bodies.
  15. Regarding complaints of Tyrod's passing yards per game... keep in mind he gained 568 yards on the ground, second most on the team. And the team as a whole led (or close to) the league in rushing. Tyrod didn't need to throw 300 yards a game to be productive. His total production was about 260 yards per game between passing and rushing. Compare to someone like Cousins, who so many are in love with... he averaged 260 ypg passing, and 3 ypg rushing.
  16. Yeah, and if the Bills are happy with him next year, I imagine they'd give him a new contract, not go with that insane option. Or, EJ will go elsewhere to try to get back to being a starter (wouldn't surprise me).
  17. I'm under the impression that's the 2017 season, not the 2016 season.
  18. I've never understood why his team has been so inconsistent over the years. Ditto for Eli Manning. Both look great some years, then look absolutely crappy some years.
  19. I think our offseason is going to be pretty boring overall, with the only exception being Mario leaving, and us hopefully signing a difference maker in the front seven.
  20. With all the needs we have, and limited cap space... I don't understand how people are calling for EJ to be cut (we pay him AND his replacement), and then also draft a QB in the early rounds. That pick, unless we're sure they're a future pro-bowler, would be wasted, when we have dire needs in the front seven (especially if Mario is gone). It really isn't about some love afair with EJ, it's more about the practical needs of the team as a whole.
  21. I think I'm the only one who's perfectly ok with EJ as our backup. It's slim pickings for a better backup, EJ has experience, is still developing, a good team player, and will be in year two of Roman's complicated system. If we replace EJ, I'd hope we replace him with someone else who has had experience with the system.
  22. Mister Big Stuff is Mister Big Heart.
  23. Not to mention, the offense started with worse field position this year, the team as a whole had some major penalty problems, and injuries, injuries, injuries.
  24. 20 of the 53 players who dressed vs the Jets in the first game weren't on our team in the first game
  25. Sure, it could get worse. It could also get better. That's why they play the games. Coming into the season I predicted a better team, with a worse record, based on the schedule. I ended up being right from a record standpoint, but it ended up not being the schedule that was the problem, but rather our team.
