  1. Whaley brought in Kolb, Jackson, Orton, Cassel, and Taylor, as far as league vets, and all of those players minus Taylor had prior starting experience, and were some of the better QBs available to us on the market. I don't really understand the idea that Whaley forced EJ on coaches.
  2. Jesus, playing with that? Bravo to him.
  3. Seahawks (former Bills players, and I like Wilson) and Bengals (good friend is a long suffering Bengals fan)
  4. He took the Bills to 9-7, not even HoF Rex can match that?
  5. Do you have drop percentage stats to share? This is what I found: Name POS TM REC Drops TGT TGT% DRP% Chris Hogan WR BUF 36 4 59 61.0% 6.8% Charles Clay TE BUF 51 4 77 66.2% 5.2% Sammy Watkins WR BUF 60 3 96 62.5% 3.1% Robert Woods WR BUF 47 2 80 58.8% 2.5% Percy Harvin WR BUF 19 1 30 63.3% 3.3% LeSean McCoy RB BUF 32 1 50 64.0% 2.0% Karlos Williams RB BUF 11 0 14 78.6% 0.0% Chris Gragg TE BUF 12 0 20 60.0% 0.0% From: http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/drops/2015/ No clue how accurate they are.
  6. Chance for revenge against Jax and Oak, game on!
  7. I agree with all of this. The left side is good, Wood is just fine, Miller/Urbik worked well and Miller is developing... only position I think is shaky is RT, and yet we still run that way quite a bit. If we find a stud in round two or three, go for it, but otherwise I'm fine with focusing on a DE and LBs in the early rounds.
  8. I'm a fan of Bob Woods. Good hands, good route runner, good blocker. The perfect WR2 or WR3 to have on the team. I think we do need another speed guy to replace the position Harvin/Goodwin has played, but hopefully with a bit more size to be durable. I don't think such a player 'replaces' Woods, though.
  9. Even with all that, kudos to Fitz for having a record breaking season for them. I think he owns a couple Jets QB records (good ones) now.
  10. Lawson fits this (and Pettine's) scheme, but not Schwartz's... not a surprise to see him being productive again. Whereas the opposite is true for Brown and Bradham, it seems. As far as the personal foul, I can't fault him for that, he went for a body hit as Fitz was crumbling to try to avoid a hit.
  11. Yeah, he showed some promise on the 3rd downs today. So I think there's hope to be had. He's even improved a bit at throwing over the middle as well.
  12. Agreed here. I think if we can replace Harvin/Goodwin with a fast guy that has a bit more size/durability, we'll be in good shape. Doesn't need to be any sort of probowler. Just someone that can create a mismatch at times, another piece to the puzzle.
  13. I'm excited to see what happens with a full offseason of being #1, and his second year in Roman's system. He's definitely grown over the course of the season, kudos to Rex and Doug for bringing him in.
  14. Why did he get benched, his numbers look decent in the box score? edit: just saw the 2 INTs
  15. Seriously. Whenever I see another team's backup, I am actually thankful for our situation There's only a couple teams in the league who have backups that are starting material, imo.
  16. First one off the top of my head was Brady vs the Bills in 2011 (the game we won).
  17. that interview is amazing He's got some sort of learning disability, I think, but an incredible feel for the game. Weird player.
  18. Even the greatest QBs of all time have games where everything falls apart on them, and they lose composure. The test is if they can get that composure back, and settle back into the game.
  19. His INT today was really the play that saved the day imo.
  20. To be fair, that's kind of just his demeanor when he's not on the field. His interview are always kinda hum drum, even when things are going amazing.
  21. I'm honestly pretty ignorant with how some of the salary/cap rules work, so I haven't a clue. If the Bills can find a way to keep him and get some cap relief, awesome... but after the firestorm he's been in this season (whether his own fault or not), I can't imagine he wants to stick around.
  22. I agree we should target him more at times, but I also think we need to take what the defense gives us as far as matchups. A lot of teams double cover Sammy, which gives us other opportunities. Today the Jets appeared to stick with single covering him with Revis, and they got burned
