Nah, I don't think we need to force it to Sammy all game long if we're healthy. Our running game is damned good, and Clay is a really good TE. And Woods is a good possession guy if coverage is leaning towards Sammy. We're ranked like 10th in the league in offense, even with all of our injuries, I think that says what we have been doing (balance) works well.

We were missing McCoy, Karlos, Percy, Woods, Goodwin, and Clay today. He was basically our only weapon left. And he still torched the !@#$ out of Revis.

Part of me hopes we can keep him for cheaper, because he is a good player. But reality is, I doubt he's going to accept a significant paycut. Just sucks to have that big of a hole to fill after last year's amazing results from our DL.

This is great news for us. I love that he's turned things around here, and I love that he recognizes it and wants to stay. Hopefully everything goes smoothly between his agent and our front office.

I still don't think EJ is a lost cause, I think his development got absolutely screwed up his first two seasons. I think he took steps forward with his preseason performance, and even his two games this year (even with the meltdown against Jax), add to that his attitude and team first mentality, I am very much ok with him being our backup QB. If you look around the league at other backups you see A LOT worse, and anyone new would have to learn Roman's system. If we keep both Tyrod and EJ going into next year, we'll have a smoother functioning offense, imo. We need players at so many other positions, I think it'd be a waste of a pick to gamble on a QB in the draft.

Considering the wind there today, I was really impressed with how he got the ball to the receivers. You can definitely see the growth over the year in his game. I know many here think he sucks or whatever, but I'm a big fan of Tyrod after this season.

If he's doing that and not getting chewed out, that kinda points to scheme. That being said, Mario doesn't suit that scheme for his asking price, so cutting him is the best choice.

This forum needs to make up its mind. I heard it was just final records that mattered. They got better without Rex. We got worse with Rex. That's really the only story here.

Just means they're still better than us, because the record is all that matters. Hopefully the Bills are in the playoff hunt in week 17 next year.

They were in the hunt for the playoffs in week 17. We were out of the playoffs at like week 2.
