  1. Generally speaking, I think there's a very fine line between 90% of the 'top college QBs' in whether they work out, or flame out in the NFL, and that fine line is often times decided by the team and coaching behind the development. I don't think Brady would be the GOAT if he were drafted by the Bills, for example. As far as Carr and Rodgers, who the hell knows, but I'm not against the notion things would be different if their situations were reversed.
  2. Well, at least one part of my prediction was right
  3. Democratic race is gonna be close, unless there's trickery afoot. I chose Sanders just on momentum, but in reality I give it a coin flip. Republican race, seems like Trump is in control, but who knows, everything is whacky right now when it comes to Trump.
  4. Not to mention, consent gets really iffy once intoxication comes into play. Who knows what she was coerced, or forced into doing in that state.
  5. Wonder if this Hot Take™ makes me an expert.
  6. More than we can afford, unless we sign him this year. Which comes with its own risks... Exciting times!
  7. Not only that, Tyrod has a tendency to sit in the pocket for quite a long time.
  8. As impatient as I am emotionally... I think I want to see what will happen if we give Rex and co 5 years or so, as long as something disastrous doesn't happen. I really want to see a system built, and some consistency for once.
  9. Top third of the league in his first year starting. Not good enough for Bills fans. Nevermind our defense was bottom third.
  10. I'm going to write her in during the primaries.
  11. Regarding stats, I've always been a fan of yards per play and points per drive. 2012: YPP - 5.6 - 22nd PPD - 2.15 - 29th 2013: YPP - 4.9 - 4thT PPD - 1.68 - 12th 2014: YPP - 4.9 - 3rdT PPD - 1.37 - 1st 2015: YPP - 5.6 - 19thT PPD - 1.81 - 19th
  12. Rambo seems to be the sort of guy who is boom or bust, no consistency. I prefer AW's consistent play, and Rambo as a 3rd safety in certain formations.
  13. Maybe they plan on picking up a couple front seven immediate starters with their first couple of picks.
  14. I come away with a different conclusion, that its not worth it for most teams. Only 10 teams averaged more than 1 point per two point conversion attempt. The Bills averaged .8 points per two point conversion, while Carp averaged .89 points per extra point attempt.
  15. I'm not clear on the 'free college' idea... but I know I'd like to see community college and trade schools be free to low/middle-low income earners. Public universities should also be more accessible, but I'd rather see any price cuts/free tuition go towards degrees of function, vs liberal arts. Handing out degrees for art history isn't really going to provide much back into the economy compared to other majors. Also, we need to make some major investments in infrastructure and clean energy production, both areas that can create jobs as well, and we'd need people trained for that as well. So, long story short, while I like the idea of making post secondary education more accessible to more people, I also don't want to see it 'wasted' on degrees of low economic function. Not sure if that disqualifies me from being a socialist or not
  16. I'll just quote myself, because its the last post of the first page, and I think it's an important data point.
  17. League wide: Teams averaged 0.957 points per attempt when attempting 2 pt conversions. Teams averaged 0.942 points per attempt when attempting extra points.
  18. They don't need to be accurate necessarily. I think it's more interesting in the relative sense of comparing with your peers.
  19. When you're that good for that long, you have to have some good front office people to go along with a HoF QB. It's not surprising that teams like NE have cheap talent.
  20. I figured it'd be better to have a topic dedicated to it, rather than continuing to derail the Trump thread. Take the test here: https://www.politicalcompass.org/ My results: Here's what they had to say about the 2012 election: https://www.politicalcompass.org/uselection2012
  21. Wood is a technique blocker. Giving him a bad rap because he doesn't over power DTs is like saying McCoy sucks because he doesn't run over LBs.
  22. Our cap needs to go towards re-signing a couple guys, and shoring up our front seven.
