  1. Fun dude, but not worth a roster spot. Onward and forward!
  2. Expected, but still disappointing that it came to this. Don't really care who's to blame, it just sucks that Mario went from being amazing, to relatively disappointing.
  3. Well, it was fun Richie. I guess we'll be drafting a DE and a OG with our first two picks.
  4. For all those who are upset about Clay's overall numbers, understand that his usage rate was highest in our passing game in games he played. That says he's pretty damned important, to me.
  5. It really is the perfect situation for him to call it quits. But, ego and greed are powerful forces.
  6. Considering he tends to get open (hence the nickname) and while athletic, he isn't a freak, he must have some decent route running skills. Not arguing the guy is a hall of famer, but as a depth guy, he seems solid enough for me *shrugs*
  7. I never understood why a depth WR gets so much hate. He's athletic and a good route runner, ok hands. He can definitely be a part of a productive team... every team needs solid depth guys.
  8. It's basic premise of capitalism.
  9. You know what they say about power and corruption. We're at a point where society is very aware of the power that the police have, and the power that the rich have. It's somewhat interesting seeing the two intersect in this instance.
  10. If we can get the guy for dirt cheap, I'd welcome him back. Analyze games, and play him sporadically, optimizing his impact on our season. Ideally we'd draft a high upside guy in the late to mid rounds, or find someone in FA for cheap as well. I think Woods/Hogan are both solid players, but we need another playmaker at WR sometimes.
  11. ridiculous. Sounds likely that McCoy is gonna walk away from this with a slap on the wrist, and probably a couple games still from the NFL. Dodged a bullet.
  12. If the tag leads to an extension, then yes. But if the idea is that we're tagging him and not extending him this year, then that's just too much money imo.
  13. Honestly, it'd probably be more than I can afford, and I'd much rather watch the game with close friends, than 'alone' (even though I'd be surrounded by strangers).
  14. I think the NFL, and other corporate interests want a new stadium, more than fans do.
  15. Having a great backup QB, but a ****ty defense, because we decided to draft/sign another QB or two would be kinda dumb, imo. We have too many other needs to waste a high pick on a top QB talent, and we don't have enough cap space to re-sign guys, and fill holes, to sign a potential FA QB. I just don't see how this is realistic.
  16. I really don't understand cutting the guy. I can't imagine he gets more than a handful of games for this, and I don't seem to recall him having a history of legal trouble. Does he have a bit of an attitude? Sure, but so do a lot of guys. If we cut him, we lose one of our most valuable weapons, and take on a boat load of dead money for nothing in return. If we keep him, we miss him for a few games, but have him for the majority, which is really important considering our other running backs are a concussion prone bruiser, and a completely unproven street free agent.
  17. To be fair, how many playoff caliber teams are still playoff caliber with their starting QB missing significant time? Do most teams carry two pro-bowl QBs?
  18. It's fun seeing this (generally more conservative) forum largely blame Democrats for being hypocritical, and another (more progressive) forum largely blame Republicans for being hypocritical. I don't understand how anyone can be surprised, or outraged, that an opposing party controlled senate would hinder, delay, or block a President's SCJOTUS nominee. I mean, its pretty predictable at this point, no?
  19. I feel like they could probably do regular refurbishing/remodeling of the Ralph and be ok. Any new stadium will have to be a dome, and be very expensive, because I can't imagine the government(s) throwing in money for it.
  20. I'm thinking DL, LB, Safety, so I chose the closest one: LB, DL, Safety
  21. That's literally the only reason I chose Jax. Not because I think Jax is better. But because the Bills will never make the playoffs.
  22. Kasich (and sometimes Bush) seems to be the only reasonable one up there tonight. Too much cat fighting between Trump, Cruz, and Rubio... and Carson just seems like he's asleep as usual.
  23. Political disagreements aside... anyone serving at that level demands a great amount of respect, imo. RIP
