    Still kind of hoping he extends under a much cheaper deal, but I don't think he has any interest in staying here for less money. He's probably going to sign with a legit football team for a reasonable deal. New DE in one of the first two rounds of the draft?

    I'd be very interested to see Sanders and Trump run as independents in the general election. I think the time is pretty ripe for some competition to the two party system.

    Unfortunately they're the most liberal party of the two electable parties, so I'm 'stuck' with them, just like libertarians are stuck with evangelical, big defense spending, republicans.

    I was under the impression that teams were allowed to cut without penalty for conduct detrimental to the team? Edit: To clarify, I'd rather keep Shady, even if he has to miss a game or two. He's a hell of a weapon to have.

    She lost the popular vote in NH, but still won the delegate count. That'll be the story around the country in any state that Sanders 'wins'.

    Because of establishment Superdelegates.... the results of NH on the Democrat side are roughly: Clinton 16, Sanders 14 What was the actual voting results? Clinton 40%, Sanders 60% As DC Tom said... Yay, democracy!

    As much as I support Bernie... the DNC is going to actively work against him being the nominee, so it won't happen. I also suspect similar will happen to Trump on the Republican side. Neither party wants these two as candidates.

    Lefty chiming in. I wasn't offended by any of the above, I was entertained by the commercials and the halftime show.

    Probably because the cops got the worst of it. Stuff on Reddit is basically saying that the cops started it, and the players finished it... but also that the players went a bit too far (stomping, etc).

    Yeah, but cops tend to get away with just about anything, unless there's video evidence to convict them.

    Skull, ribs and nose injuries? Gonna be hard to not be handed some sort of punishment for that, even if the cops started it, and McCoy was practicing 'self defense'.

    For all we know, the off duty cops started it. But it doesn't excuse McCoy. NFL players need to just walk away from drama.

    Anyone who can get lobby and campaign finance reform going, will do a lot of good for our country, imo. Unfortunately, its difficult to get people to make new laws that'd lose them money personally.

    The issue isn't that she's making money, the issue is that there's a potential conflict of interest.

    He's won games in the league on worse teams. So if we were 8-0, I'd expect him to pick up at least 5 wins in the remaining 8 games, if the schedule was of similar difficulty.
