    Dumb question... what's the difference between "cap number" and "dead money" in the link QC supplied? Is the dead money number the number the Bills would be on the hook for if they released the player?

    Usually the guys you get in a fight with, are the guys you want to play with, because you know they mean business out there. I have a feeling this team would embrace Spikes as a teammate.

    That sort of red flag sounds like he'd drop to late rounds/UDFA, and a team will hope they strike gold on him if he turns his life around.

    I'm really surprised at how many mocks have us taking a offensive tackle. My opinion differs greatly. Hrm.

    Knowing how to play does not make one a good coach. I'll wait and see before I cheer or boo this decision... seems a bit too easy to just fall back on hiring Syracuse guys, though.

    Why do we always want to trade productive players? He's a very effective pass rusher, and I don't recall him being the specific problem with our run defense.

    I'd sacrifice some sacks if it meant stopping big plays, and being better on third down.

    Makes sense to me *shrugs* As long as musicians aren't miming their concerts, I don't care if they have to fake it sometimes for special events. A lot of times logistics just don't line up.

    That defense was one of the most impressive things I have seen. God damn.

    At best he would be competition, and end up being EJ's back up instead of Thad... I have a feeling we're going into next season with EJ, Thad, and Tuel on the PS (if he's still eligible)

    Offseason hasn't even started, and this board has already swung full tilt to optimism. Hopefully it's met with results.... This time.

    Hopefully this means good things. Still a little concerned that he didn't climb the ladder very far in NE, but NE's track record at the positions he's coached has been strong.
