    Then in 2-3 years, I'll say Marrone is/was an improvement over the previous coach. Until then... he's the same.

    Rookie QBs have played on playoff teams before. We changed QB, HC and DC, because those were the main problems with the team. Finished with the same record. Maybe next season we get better. But for now, I don't consider the 2013 team to be any better than the 2012 team. I certainly enjoyed watching the 2013 team more, though.

    6-10 is 6-10 Last year it was the fault of the QB, HC and DC. This year it's the fault of just the QB, it seems.

    Neither, really. Marrone is more of the same as our previous coaches. Pettine is a high risk defensive coach that runs a mostly average defense. It'd be great to get a legitimate head coach some day.

    I think he's on the fringe and just didn't make it due to a "coin flip" sort of scenario. If he continues to progress, he'll surely make it in the next couple of seasons.

    It's a good sign (for us) that they are still interviewing... I want another year with Pettine so hopefully one of our defensive coaches that stays can keep his system (if it proves successful).

    Mario, Kyle and Marcell... all Pro Bowl talent... all three suck, according to the experts at TBD, from what I've read.

    Glad to hear he's still participating in Bills activities. Hopefully that's a sign that he's staying put.

    Offense: LG WR TE RB (for the future) RG/RT OLB MLB FS (assuming Byrd doesn't stay) DL depth DC (assuming Pettine leaves) HC (assuming Marrone gives us more of the same poor coaching)

    Considering that we'd likely still be at 6-10 due to other holes, or him being on the bench behind Tuel/Flynn... probably.

    I'd much rather have a "high character" team and be 6-10.

    It's probably true. I think QBs are often times part talent, and part how they are coached up in the NFL. If we chose him, it's likely he'd be sitting on the bench behind Fitzpatrick, then the new staff would have still drafted a new QB, because Wilson is short, and was stuck being Fitz, so he must not have been any good. etc etc

    I hate that we constantly take one step forward, then two steps back. Hopefully the Browns FO hates Pettine or something.

    I want one or two big targets for EJ to learn to trust... A run stuffing LB A stout Guard and the rest is just depth here and there. I suck at following college sports, so I have no idea which names would be the best

    Dareus does that swim/chop move quite often, it's generally how he gets his QB pressures/sacks.

    I like how "argument" gets turned into "verbal altercation" and "meltdown" in the media.

    I just hope Pettine has taught the position coaches enough so that we don't lose the scheme if he leaves. Having a 3rd defensive scheme in 3 years (or is it 4 in 4?) is just stupid.
