  1. Annnnnnnnd my opinion has changed.
  2. The whole mess kind of reminded me of what happened/happens to DC when blizzards hit. Some cities just don't have the capabilities to deal with certain weather events, as they don't happen often enough to put $$$ into preparation. Kinda feel bad for Atlanta's population, even though other cities deal with this sort of weather with absolute ease.
  3. I'm totally ok with him bracing it up. You can still be productive with them.
  4. At this rate, he's not going to have bendable knees by the time he's 30.
  5. I tend to only read the news, so I haven't really been inundated by Superbowl coverage. On ESPN, I don't even check the NFL page, I just check out the main page, then the NBA page. Then I head on over to Google News and read articles there for various world/US news, not much Superbowl coverage at all. Honestly, I kind of forget about the Superbowl from time to time. I don't even think I'll see the game, who knows.
  6. I think either Kiko is our weakside, or MLB. I'm ok with Lawson as our strong side LB. I think drafting a weak/middle linebacker in the 2nd round would be a good move. I'd much prefer us get a playmaker TE or WR in the first round, someone EJ can trust to be "always open". LG is a need, but I think a playmaker would have a bigger net positive effect, than a LG would. Maybe we can find a guard in free agency? If not, hope a decent one is in the third?
  7. Martin would be good depth. I don't think he's a distraction as long as we don't have a line full of aggressive bigots.
  8. Couple Browns fans at work discussing it with other fans... convo went something like: "Heard you guys got a new coach or something? Anyone I've heard of?" "Nah, probably not. Wish we got x,y,z" "Oh well, sucks... guess you'll get a new coach in a year or two, hawww" "Yup, basically."
  9. At the very least, we should have him for another year. I'd rather get him signed, so that he doesn't hold out of training camp/pre-season this year, though. As far as Toronto. I don't like the series. But I don't think it necessarily costs us wins. The players still have to go out and perform, and they have failed to.
  10. My opinion: Kiko = A Woods = B Goodwin = C Manuel = D/Incomplete Williams, Gragg, etc = D (didn't see the field really) Robey = A I wish they would have used him for more than deep passes in games with Woods and SJ still healthy. He was wholly one dimensional when Woods and SJ were on the field. :/
  11. No blitzing? 4-3? Hmmmmm, sounds familiar.* * - tongue in cheek
  12. Just saw the highlights, looked like a great game. I might have to find a download of it.
  13. That'd be a fun game to watch.
  14. I don't understand the idea that we would get rid of Branch... KW, Marcel and Branch make a great DT rotation, imo. Throw in another depth guy, and you have a rotation that will keep our talented interior fresh throughout the game. I'm not too worried about "4-3", as we ran something similar in 2013, really. Hughes, KW, Dareus and Mario on the line... Kiko and Lawson as LBs, with either Bradham or an extra DB.
  15. I would have liked to watch the game, but I had no idea when it was on, or what channel. It didn't even make the news on ESPN.
  16. Would have liked Wade, but I'll take it. Hopefully he can bring more consistency, while keeping the aggressiveness. But, being its the Bills, I'll keep my expectations low.
  17. Before Pettine we couldn't stop the run or pass. Last year we could stop the pass, but not the run. Next year, I expect to go back to not stopping either.
  18. The problem is that they tend to choose the wrong guys
  19. I laughed. Then cried at the accuracy.
  20. Good for him. Sucks for us. I fully expect a few steps backwards on the defensive side of the ball next year. Combined with no improvements on offense, should be another entertaining season. Go Bills.
  21. Sounds just like our type of guy.
  22. It's a business. The team will spend as little as possible, while trying to get the most revenue. So the balance is a handful of talented players, $10-20m left in the cap, and a whole heaping of sales pitch filled with hope. And we eat it up every year.
  23. Gonna be amusing when the Browns finish with a better record than the Bills.
