  1. bull ****. We should cut him now. Because he's silly and late sometimes, and he appears fat, or something. SEND A MESSAGE
  2. At this juncture... we should keep all of the above, and I assume Fred will retire. But we all know we'll lose at least 2 of the 4 younger guys, and create holes for ourselves to continue mediocrity.
  3. I'm sure Marrone will 'send a message' and cut him.
  4. Or maybe I'm trashing Marrone and co for letting go of Rogers while we have big questions at WR. Nah. That'd make too much sense.
  5. Heh, so only QBs that can carry teams to a Superbowl victory are worth keeping? You guys win, this conversation is just nuts. If you can't carry a team to Superbowl nirvana, you suck. Flacco, Dilfer and Eli say hi.
  6. Isn't this thread about taking Williams over Dalton?
  7. I'm not huge into how he used CJ. I feel like CJ needs to be given some better screens, and zone runs or something. The rest of the offense was fine, if a little predictable. We have inaccurate QBs, and WRs wtih stone hands. If we fixed those two, we probably wouldn't be having an OC discussion.
  8. So he's not elite, and he's not as bad as Bills QBs. Is there room somewhere in between the two extremes? I bet if we had Andy Dalton this year, we make the playoffs. Do we advance? Maybe, maybe not. But he's enough of an improvement over what we have that we'd have a few more wins this year. I think it's silly for ****ty teams, and fans of ****ty teams, to trash talk playoff teams, and their players. We have absolutely no ground to stand on.
  9. Yes, I watched it. Yes, he had a bad game. Yes, he's better than our QBs over the last three years. Yes, his team has gotten to the playoffs over the last three years with him as QB. Not once did I claim he was elite. But he's certainly good enough to get a team to the post season. He hasn't been good enough to advance in the post season, yet, though. Still... it's a nice problem to have, as I sit here a fan of a team in the middle of a 14 year playoff drought.
  10. And our guys can't even catch wide open passes. Good call, Marrone and co.!
  11. I think we're destined for Manning in the bowl, personally.
  12. My expectations that both will be off the team two seasons from now. It's depressing to think that, but I haven't really seen much from either that isn't "more of the same" for us. We'll see if we can plug holes this off season, and if Manuel improves, and if Marrone pulls his head out of his ass. Good read.
  13. Ditto here. First play gave the team some real confidence, including EJ. Second play basically took the wind out of any playoff hopes. Blargh.
  14. Hopefully Kolb is gone, regardless of who we pick up.
  15. What a joke.
  16. What about two divisions per conference, and the rest are running for wildcard?
  17. It's not going to happen. We're all in with EJ for at least another season, if not two. He's Marrone's guy.
  18. We're not drafting a QB. We're invested in Manuel for at least another year, but probably two. I'd like to see us trade back, since we probably won't need what the 'best at 9' is. Trade back, fill gaps at G, LB and TE with extra picks hopefully. If Manuel improves, we see the playoffs.
  19. I absolutely agree. I watch every game ever week. But frankly, I hesitate to spend $300-400 on a weekend in Buffalo if I'm going to watch a team disappoint me. It's just simple economics. I can't imagine supporting a team with really expensive seats.
  20. Yeah, Rivers is unorthodox, yet outstanding. Fun guy to watch.
  21. I'm a fan. Gives us a better chance of sneaking in, hah.
  22. I bet if the Bills made a legit playoff push, or made the playoffs every 3-5 years, the attendance would be better, too. But I guess that'd just be "fair weather fans".
