Tell that to all the DBs who tackle with a shoulder, instead of trying to wrap players up. It's always hilarious to see them either miss, or not knock a RB or TE over. Instead, they should be going to wrap up the legs... like Byrd often does, and I love it.

I fully agree. Also, I'd rather have a sure tackler than a "bring the wood guy" anyways. Much prefer losing a few "OOOOOOH" highlights and "WHY THE HELL DIDN'T HE JUST WRAP THE GUY UP???" plays for "boring" sure tackles, myself.

I don't know if there are truly any QBs available that are guaranteed better than Thad. Especially for our system.

A rookie coach who was mediocre in college. A rookie QB who can't stay on the field. Signing a FA QB who injured himself on a mat. A "stud" defense, that can't stop the run, or 3rd and long... then still lose their "awesome" DC to a head coaching job. There's always some "mess" with this team. The only consistency is that there's new excuses every year for being mediocre. Ideally I'd love if we got our collective **** together and made the playoffs. But I'm certainly not expecting anything other than absolute nonsense... for the 14th year running.

Not at all. I'd be crying tears of happiness if they made the playoffs. But I'm cynical to the point where I don't expect them to do anything right.

All I know is... with my first three picks... I want some combination of WR/TE, ILB, and OL. Don't care too much about order, as long as all three are quality NFL starters.

I agree with others, I'd rather get a "ready" guy. We have a few players with size that can develop, as is.

A team with no dire needs doesn't finish 6-10. Unless the coaching staff is absolute garbage. So which is it?
