  1. How come this isn't pinned? Seems like player visits, and rumors for the Bills has been pretty quiet... wonder what's going on.
  2. If we use that money on lets say... Peppers and Spikes (probably wouldn't get both for the money, but lets just say), I'd be happy. But otherwise. I'm still at a loss for not tagging. I understand he doesn't want to be here long term, but losing him makes our team worse at the moment.
  3. About lines up with our record. No big shock.
  4. He wanted to test the market. There's not much the Bills can do to avoid that, without severely overpaying. I'm disappointed that our team has gotten worse over the offseason so far, but it is what it is.
  5. Good for the Bills. Hopefully good for Kolb. Hopefully he got some settlement out of it, and will decide to retire.
  6. Explains so much. Thanks.
  7. Any guess if that's counting Kolb?
  8. I'm genuinely curious. And I prefer to think about these things a bit more realistically. The Bills have to maximize profits, which means they have to walk a line of not spending a whole lot on players, while signing players to sell the fans on. If we have 20mil in cap room, I don't feel we'll spend to that line, but somewhere lower, and I want to keep that in mind when "playing". Or I could just shut up and apologize for derailing.
  9. He was targeted 7 times, caught 5 passes. So, at most he dropped 2 passes.
  10. Wait, seriously, you aren't allowed to practice tackling? I've rarely, if ever, seen anyone get a penalty for a "classic" wrap tackle.
  11. So EJ sucks when the Bills win, because it was the defense. And EJ sucks when the Bills lose, because the defense. Well, at least we're consistent, heh.
  12. What's the minimum we can spend according to CBA? I think it's more likely we'll spend closer to that number, than the full cap.
  13. Thing that always bothered me with Donte is... he only tackles with his shoulders. Looks for the big hit. Never seems to wrap up consistently. I feel like he misses a lot of tackles this way.
  14. Whatever happened to giving rookies time to develop? SJ13 only had 12 receptions total in his first two years. Does that mean he is a worse player than Roscoe Parrish and Josh Reed? Or does it just mean that a rookie who is likely a project, and hence taken late in the draft, needs time to develop?
  15. Historically he isn't... but I want to say he had the best blocking ratings among our TEs during preseason. I remember reading something about it and being utterly surprised. Of course going back and trying to find that sort of stuff is difficult, but I'll see what I can do. Well, here's one reference: http://forums.twobil...reseason-stats/ Edit: I should note, I'm not arguing that Gragg is our starter going forward. He's a project. A late round pick. Not expected to make any noise right away. To me he's shown some good things, and I feel he *could* work out. But we shouldn't depend on it, and we should still address the TE position this off season.
  16. Spiller for Revis would be dumb, just from a financial perspective. But... taking financials out... Revis, as good as he is, probably won't win us any games. Not saying Spiller will win us a bunch of games either. but the drop off from Revis to our two CBs is smaller than the dropoff between Spiller and... whomever we have as a RB not named FredEx. What I find more interesting than anything is, is that there seems to be a decent amount of big money players being released this year. Really makes me wonder about Mario going forward.
  17. Well, to be fair... he was a late draft pick. So if anything it'll take him a year or two to bust into relevance. Not many late round picks earn a starting spot their first year.
  18. I like Gragg and Moeaki, but both are big risks right now. We need something more solid at TE.
  19. I thought Tuel was going to be the unquestioned starter by the end of last season!? Or was it this season? ... Or did all the Tuel fanboys disappear?
  20. Luckily for him, he should be rich enough to afford to "fail" as a writer for some time to come. It's a good position to be in.
  21. EJ gets one more season, if not two, to prove his worth. People need to just accept that.
  22. He was well behaved here. The media tried to stir **** up constantly. It's too bad we didn't keep him for a couple years. Not sure it would have made a difference, though.
  23. We should start a new QB every week until one is put in the Hall of Fame for the one game.
  24. Ok, fine. The Dolphins are not closer to success... no matter what recent records state. I still don't hate Byrd for going to another team. It's clear he doesn't want what we are offering, either in money, environment, or success.
