  1. Why can't it be Watkins or Evans + Johnson + Woods + Goodwin? I don't understand the argument that "he's not a true #1 so we should get rid of him" If he's not a true #1 make him a #2 or #3 until it causes us cap issues.
  2. Wish we could have gotten multi year, with incentives. But one is better than none. Welcome to Buffalo We have most of the pieces for a damned good D, hopefully the coach can bring it together.
  3. C'mon Jimbo, you got this.
  4. Spikes is better than who we have at MLB currently (Kiko is OLB now). Screw the character talk. Screw the "slow" talk. He's an improvement.
  5. So the suggestion is that we'd be better without Spikes, than with him, and him potentially having character flaws? I'm sick of character being the determining factor on if we keep a player. I'll take a couple bad apples as long as the team wins games. Tired of this BS.
  6. Nope. I'd rather have Stevie and Woods as our #2 and #3 to go with an awesome rookie #1.
  7. The Wiki edits are all over the place right now. One edit says 6 years, $60 mil, heh. Oh community run pages. Great for some things, but for others not so much.
  8. Looks like IP 138.92.15.78 is who made the Wiki Edit of him signing with the Bills. Which goes back to Canisius College, apparently. Take that for what it's worth.
  9. http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Brandon_Spikes&diff=599607953&oldid=599607893 Ahahahahaha I shouldn't laugh, but I am.
  10. I'm of the opinion, if I hate the person who's kicking the snot out of me, I'd love to have him on my side.
  11. I say we sign Takeo also, as his backup. Why not?
  12. I'd be totally ok with bringing in an "old guy" like him to man the spot while we groom someone young.
  13. Isn't that exactly what we saw from him last year? Solid all around play? Nothing spectacular, but nothing too glaringly weak?
  14. I imagine we're going after Spikes or drafting a guy who can start at MLB. There's no way we're putting Kiko outside and starting said sketchy player inside.
  15. For all the blithering about Chandler's skills... he gets open, he has reliable hands (save Atlanta), and has been adequate as a blocker. No he's not blinding fast, no he's not a blocking stud, no he's not a juke machine. Be he does produce results that are better than about half the league's starting TEs. To me that says "solid" or "average" if you want. I'd love to improve the position. But we could do a lot worse there, as well. So I stand by my opinion... he's "fine" as long as we improve the WR corps, or the two second year guys take off. If the WR corps continue to struggle, then we could very much use a new shiny athletic TE (who likely wouldn't be the best blocker, but you have to take what you can get).
  16. I like Chandler, myself. He's a solid all around TE. As long as our WRs are doing their job, he's just fine. If our WRs continue to struggle, then I'd be more adamant about wanting a more dynamic TE.
  17. I'd take it too. But he's not coming back.
  18. Wonder if the Pats will try to trade him instead. And if the Bills are a partner, what it'd cost us...
  19. Hence why I asked...
