I'd say with the emergence of Murphy that it wasn't a bad thing TD Mike was a good player but Murph can keep up the same production he had in the preseason the dude will be wanted on this team especially seeing as Shady is getting up there in age ! If Shady hits the wall some time soon & shows that he is struggling & Murphy still shows what he has to this point this yr into the regular season it wouldn't surprise me to see them insert Murphy as the #1 if his production is like it has been !! That said no i don't miss TD Mike !!

I agree a lot of people think having arm strength enough to launch a 70 yr bomb is OMG the best thing a NFL QB can have which maybe having it in the players arsenal is a good thing but not necessary to be a good even great QB ! One interview that stuck out to me this yr was by a guy that didn't have the greatest arm in the NFL when it came to launching it 70+ yds but new how to drop a dime for 25 yds & could read the D & pick them apart . He had a really good career & if not for injury he could have had a lot better one his name was Chad Pennington ! The interview i listened to was on One Bills Live the dude nailed what a NFL QB needs to have to be a good QB in this league & that was deciphering defenses quickly, finding their weaknesses & being accurate sure you have to have decent arm strength but not even QB tries a hail mary every other game like Rogers does but it is nice to be able to if needed ! If Peterman can be a good version of Pennington for the Bills i'm all in because he won more than he lost especially before his injuries started to creep into his career . So here's to hoping he can be our guy for a while or at least until Allen can learn to be a better QB for the team ! GO BILLS !!!!!

His agent agree'd to a reduced contract & i'm pretty sure he didn't just do the deal with no communication with Richie at all then once he thought about it he got pissed & asked to be let go which looking at it now was a blessing for the Bills !! E. Woods deal sucked for the Bills he was a steady leader but the Bills did the right thing in letting him determine his contract after giving all to the team & the game that Wood did. Cordy's deal at first i was a bit against mainly because he proved the so called experts wrong that he couldn't be a starting LT but after i heard he had a slight injury during the Bengals game i thought maybe it was a good idea by Bean & the cap savings for team building is a no brainer ! I hope Richie gets the help he needs he was good here while it lasted but something has set the dude off & he needs to get a grip ! Maybe he was just being good to long while here & it is all bubbling over from keeping it pent up inside ??

With Davis not looking very good in the preseason if he isn't picked up by another team it could be a big possibility !!

I would think if they did there is one out there that they should look at Luke Falk was cut by the Titans & he looked pretty good with them & some one will pick him up if the Bills get some one he would be a good get .

For the money Dimarco & Clay neither give a good return on their contracts & Clay is one of the last big contract blunders of the Whaley era but at least he does give a little back i guess thats why he's still here !!

I don't think so i believe that how McCarron being traded to the Raiders came by Bean talking trade with them for Mack & McCarron being part of that trade but Bean wasn't going to go with 2 first rounders so when that deal fell apart the Raiders decided to come back to Bean & take McCarron in a separate deal giving the Bills a 3rd round pick ...

Could be why they don't know how to play at the NFL level or speed when they get drafted & need a yr or more before the game comes to them just a thought ...

BRILLIANT !!! ? So this is where it came from !!

There's a lot of talk around the last preseason game of each yr on talk shows around the league about adding regular season games & taking a couple of games away from the preseason . Yesterday i even heard one talk show host say add 2 games to the regular season & give players another bye week then make it mandatory that the big name players have to sit out 1 of the added games as to not get hurt ? brilliant ! One big thing about this controversy that i don't get is, how will the coaches determine if the rookies can play against vets at the NFL speed & do well if they have 2 less games ? (Because they say game speed is different than practice speed) Even the players say they get tired of practicing against the guys on their own team & welcome the change of the preseason to hit some one different. I know there is always the threat of injury which is part of the equation but a lot of teams are now sitting their team Vets like Shady & Kyle ! Then if you add to this like in the Bills situation this yr adding a new OC that is implementing a new scheme how will that work out given less games to try & put some of these concepts in ? I know a lot of the preseason is pretty vanilla but you here of (especially when guys hold out) that they come in in shape but have to work their way into "Game Shape" ! Isn't that part of the preseason too getting into game shape ? Guys now days work out all year long as they should given the amount of money they make they need to eat, breath, sleep, & S**T football all year round in my eyes if there is any justification for the money they make . But last year when Laveon Bell held out & got into the Steelers camp they talked how he wasn't in "Game Shape" & had to play himself into game shape . Then didn't get there until a couple of weeks into the season ! I also heard these talk show hosts say that the 4th preseason game isn't up to NFL standards & that would be another reason to make the preseason 2 games shorter but the reason why the last game isn't up to "NFL standards" is it's a game of players with less experience to get some tape on them to see if they can be coached into NFL shape & with out that tape & playing time to determine that how will those type of things be figured out ? Now with the new developmental league starting that is more than likely the plan to do away with some games so the owners can charge for 2 more games when it comes to selling their product to TV that would insure more playing/developmental time for those that might have a chance of making a team . if they do add games which i hope they don't they need to add more players to the active roster too ! Personally i think if it ain't broke don't fix it but some how the powers that be will continue to make changes to things that could make the game we all use to love & couldn't wait to see each week a thing of the past like MNF !! I don't think this will be a controversy although anything is possible ! The part about Flutie having a week arm is out the window, sure dude didn't have the gun maybe that Favre had or Rogers but his was a lot stronger than Petermans for sure ! And Peterman is only in his second season he really has no history to this point that proves him to be a winner unlike Flutie did ! Then there is the fact that Allen being a 1st rounder is at some point going to be given the reigns & was brought here specifically to be the future of the team Johnson was also brought in because Ralph thought he was some awesome QB which i'm not saying he was a bad one just he didn't have the "IT" factor ! I would hope the Peg's would have enough confidence in their hires to do their job & not meddle & stick to the things they know about that would be a good thing !! Johnson could have been a starter in the NFL but by his performance after the Bills debacle with him he sure didn't do much with what ever chances he had after . Too given the fact that he may have had a better chance if certain people would have let those they hire to do a job do it the way they see fit he could have had a different out come with his career but because of what happened in B/lo his legacy will be one less thought of than what it could have been !!

As long as Dabol works the way that McD does & if he can't get the O line figured out this yr & fires the apparent problem the O line coach immediately after the season i think he will be there longer but if they have a bad season & like McD can't see where the problem lies the Pegula's might just make the move for them !!

I've read some where that Gruen didn't think he had a back up QB on the roster so McBean should package AJ, Corey Coleman, & Shaq Lawson plus a #1 & a 2 for Mack ! Who ever the jack ass was that let Mack get out of B/lo in the first place should be slapped in the head I'm pretty sure it was Whaley the same year he pulled the brilliant trade to get Watkins which makes that move even more ignorant !!

Dabol was brought in & basically told to use what he's got already in place which in some instances is a good thing because to much change can be a bad thing but in this case i think Dabol should be able to have who he wants as his O line coach . If Castillo had come with a resume of turning O lines around into perennial top 10 lines that would be 1 thing but i can't remember him being on a bunch of really good teams of late sure he did a stint with some decent teams in Philly which is where he has his connection with McD but since then he's not done a lot of nothing !! Given what McD had here still under contract when he was hired that was working really well with the personal on hand meaning Arron Kromer & given the fact that since he has went to L.A. their running game has become a huge reason why they are on the upswing makes the move to let Kromer go look real close to the blunder that was Rex letting Schwartz walk ! Why can't these new coaches go into to teams & look before they leap ? See what's working & just LEAVE IT ALONE !!

It sure looks that way but i'm glad the Bills got the best of Ritchie & not the worst !! It's to bad because while he was here he seemed to be a real good guy & team mate ! I wonder if he ever reached out to E. Wood or Shady while all this stuff was going on ? We've heard the stuff that Incognito said he leaned on Wood a bit when he first came here ... He has been a definite bright spot this year i guess if we can find one a year we are about 18 yrs from being a winner ?

Bodine is a depth player at best from anything i have read from a Bengals site the job should be Groys to loose & just for the simple fact that Mills, & Ducasse are still pencilled in as starters makes me wonder about the competency of Castillo as the O line coach !! He's not shown anything in a while that can prove he is a coach they need to keep to move into the future they are striving for I hope they can see that sooner rather than later !! Ducasse & Mills need to be traded out for Teller & Gerhard or the other guy they picked up from NE's practice squad if they are going to be bad on the O line don't let it be because of a vet that has a proven bad playing history go with a kid that could have a higher potential ... At least that way they have the excuse of the unknown on their side !!
