Spoken like a true Bills fan !! I'm wit u bro !!

We all know about the staff change over for the Bills (the past 19 yrs) & the unstablity that it can cause for teams, so why don't these coaches bend a bit & use past proven methods to get to their goals ? Rex came in with all the hoopla that he did & with his proven past of being a decent (not great HC but a better D coach) especially seeing as he was fired from the Jets for the lack of production both offensively & defensively . He did at first try to integrate some of Schwartz D concepts with his, but with all the previous tape (if it ain't broke don't fix it) just keep a lot of what's in place there ! You have the players & the tape of a proven system that fits the players so why not go with it ? This year is kind of the same thing ! Last 2 years the Bills have had the best running game in the league & a S**T ton of tape with the proof that it works so why not use more of that scheme & make improvements on the stuff that wasn't or didn't work ? I know coaches & players have apparent huge ego's & think their ways are best but if something is working such as blocking schemes & it is to the players you have on the teams strength then USE THAT !! Why is that such a hard concept to grab ! We always have one side of the team doing great while the other side can't find their ass in the dark if all ten fingers were flash lights !! This year is the same ! The D went back to their great play (because the scheme 4/3 is better to our players strengths) But the offensive scheme is doing something not quite right , every team should be able to score ONE TD per game & that's all it would have took last week !! If nothing else when building a new staff keep coaches in the areas that were working (like last years O line coach) & ditch the others again to get coaches that scheme to play to the players strengths ! GO BILLS !!!

I would say seeing as Tyrod was out for a week or so with the concussion they didn't want him just to go out & start winging it every which way just to see if he can . Not to mention that it was the first time Mathews & Tyrod were together in live action . I think it is good to start against a team that isn't suppose to have a good year & get into a rhythm on the offensive side of the ball seeing as the preseason wasn't all that productive . Let shady go & get the guys to follow & remember how they were doing it last year & most of all keep every one healthy !!

Maybe he just has to pee a lot you know how that goes as you get older !! Maybe he'll be like Stink on ESPN when he was with the Broncos & just stand on the field & piss him self , just one of those things you have to get under control !!

The only problem with that was that the kid that went to Carolina had played with EJ at FSU so wouldn't you think that instead of reaching for Sammy they would have grabbed some one like Kevin Benjamin that EJ had familiarity with ?? I thought that would be the common sense thing to do if you want him to excel !!

WOW this year has been crazy to say the least ! Just thinking of the turn over from last year a new coach & staff plus that only 33 players from last years roster would be back in a Bills uni was a lot in some respects. Sure the Bills weren't great last year but they were near .500 ! Then on the horizon we see a new coach & staff that like the previous coach bring high expectations, he was even looked at as a Levy type in his attention to detail & thorough preparation but with much less fan fair than the previous coach the Bills get Mc D & hire a lot of worthy coaches & with those drafted this year it looked real good ! Finally Sammy was getting healthy add to that the Bills not picking up his 5th yr option he will be playing his butt off to prove he's the man Right ? Then there was the possibility of a legit #2 WR in Zay J. excitement was building around the Bills once again ! Then wait for it ... ANQUAN SIGNED OMG !!! IS THIS FOR REAL ?? What a great move the play offs are seemingly with in reach, if the line & QB plays up to what they did last year with Shady, Sammy, Anquan, Clay, man teams will be fearing this offense because just look at the weapons !! The D was going back to a 4/3 & we know the guys love that !! Mc D & company have got it going on !! WOO HOO ! Then as the NFL turns ... 2 corner stone type players that would be a huge part of the now & the future (so we the fans thought) are suddenly gone but we got draft picks & we still have Zay J, & Anquan will teach him to become the consummate pro, but on second thought no you won't !!! Anquan changes his mind ... What now ?? Mc D said that Sammy was looking really good & he liked what he was doing in the first game he played but now he's gone . Mc D said he has all the trust in the world for Tyrod , but if Nathan continues to grow in the system is Tyrod next ? Say to NYJ's they are hurting for a QB ! Seeing as Shady is getting up in age could he be used to grab more draft picks for the future if the other RB's play decent ? Could Eric Wood being in the last year of his deal & given his injury history plus given the fact that they have Groy could he be next or might it be Kyle gone if the new FO has the Bellicheck mentality ? Or maybe if Dawkins plays well at LT could Cordy be up for the highest bidder ? I'm not sure but i wouldn't put anything off the board as far as the FO doing what ever they see fit to change the team hopefully into a contender. What other surprises can you think of that might be around the corner this year ?? I for one am kind of scared to think of what could be ... But i do think that every one had better play their ass off if they want a job !!

Or maybe he thought that with Sammy & Shady the O was a lot more potent and able to make it to the post season , then with the moves last week seeing that the WR group is less than it was coupled with the way the O played in Philly he was like maybe this wasn't such a good idea ... It was said before his signing that he wanted to go to a team that could have a shot at going to the play offs & the longer this season goes on the more it looks like 18 yrs is on the horizon !!

You need to change your heading !! I'm hoping that your heading should look more like Polian/Levy II & not what yours says !! Jauron was more of a good not great D coordinator, some coaches can be good at one thing & be mediocre at another which i think was Jauron's deal . I hope that we can look back at this move the Pegula's have made when we are in the SB & say yep this was more of a Polian/Levy II type hire !! GO BILLS !!

I don't believe this FO is that foolish if they are going to get rid of him they will trade him like they did Jones to get something in return !! There is a team out there that had him high on their board that would give at least a 3rd round pick for him i would think ...

I heard that there are only 30 members left from last years team that may not be a rebuild but it's definitely a over haul !!

At least they got something for him rather than just cutting him like it would have been done int the past !! If Yates doesn't do any better i would have taken the chance on keeping him his upside could have been much higher than keeping a guy that throws int's !!! But in the NFL experience trumps taking chances ...

Which would you rather have a big arm to throw 60+ yards (EJ Manuel) or a little less arm strength (Peterman/Chad Pennington) ?? I think thats a no brainer

It is very unusual for a player to be with one team from their draft to retirement, once in a while you will get one that does but not often. The Bills have had a really good one in Kyle Williams, he is a true Buffalo Bill in every way the kind of player you wish all were when they put on the Uni ! He comes to work, doesn't complain after every coaching change he just kisses the wife, hugs the kids & goes to work every day & busts his ass to be the best he can be . No crying or whining just hard work to show others what a real leader looks like . Kyle's career in B/lo like many others will be coming to an end fairly soon one would think as NFL careers go. If not by his decision by the new FO staff (although if he still plays at a high level he may have 1 more yr) 11 yrs is considered a good NFL career . Kyle has been to the pro bowl 5 times & has busted his hump for 5 different HC's during his time with the Bills & never once complained just went to work ! I think this year as fans we need to show him our appreciation by making his jersey the number 1 Bills jersey sold I know his is at the top of my list this year ! I have a F. Jackson, C.J. Spiller, A. Reed, Smerlas, but Kyles should be up there with a J. Kelly, B. Smith jersey in your collection because he has given his all to this team & it's fans . No matter how bad the team may have gotten during his time here no one can say anything bad about the man he is & will be a Buffalo Bill for life . Thanks Kyle for all you given the Bills fans during your time on the field & here's to at least one more good year !!!

If his brother is that stupid he shouldn't have paid his bail !! That's how a lot of NFL & other sports stars lose millions by the leaches that say they are family when all's they care about is getting some of the cash in what ever form for their own benefit ... Beware Sammy !!

I thought the same about keeping his arms inside more, but if he's coachable he will be a good pick up for the team !! Looks to have a lot of power i hope it translates to the NFL ! He almost looked like a man among boys on some of that stuff ...

We have enough injury prone players here already we don't need another just to take up another roster spot, his injury status has been worse than Sammy's I say NO !! We already have 4 backs on the squad that Mc D has brought in & they can (as it seems) stay healthy . Unless the curse hits them now that they are in B/Lo ...

I think a lot may depend on his health this year , if he can stay healthy with the familiarity he has developed with Tyrod he should be able to put up good numbers. If he does his worth to both the Bills & other teams will climb & a trade or a new contract could be in his future . I think McDermott has to be shown that he can stay healthy before he makes a decision to keep him especially after his last 2 seasons with his injuries.

WOW !! First Impressions can say a lot !! I get your excited, I get that your living out a dream & fulfilling a promise that you made your grand mother but i bet his mouth really made her proud last night !! Prime looked real enthused to talk to him after that !! I read this morning where they said "that was the best moment of the draft ??? Takk Mckinley wins the night with emotional speech" ????? WHAT ?? I thought it was pretty foolish my self ! Little or no self control on the biggest stage (to this point) of his life ! I guess i'm out of touch & i need to run around just cursing because when i'm hyped This ranks right up there with the ignorants of Axle & Slash from G & R dropping all those F Bombs on live TV on the music awards show 10 or so years ago !! It just shows you have very little if any self control which could be a rather large red flag ! If first impressions go a long way I bet the Falcons were really proud of the way he handled himself !! This kid will be another Pac Man Jones, a loose cannon out in the public that the team may need to assign a baby sitter to so he doesn't get in to to much trouble . Especially the part when he said he didn't care to go ahead & fine him later ??? First thing right out of the box THAT WAS BRILLIANT !! Well lets give this guy a ton of money & see how he reacts when he's out & about, lets say in Miami one night while surrounded by a bunch of (in his mind) lessor human beings known as fans that want to be around him after 4 or 5 shots, can't wait to read those head lines !! I believe the answer is yes ! I have moved to suburb of Nashville Tn & when the Bills are not winning i look for a little relief from the Titans . Which at times the past couple of years has been as tough as being a Bills fan !! But it's all about to change !! GO Bills !!

The title of you post is incorrect !! The change needs to be WHEN not IF !! TD Mike is gone & i can't say as i blame him or the Pats . He is a starter in the NFL I just hope that the Bills draft Foster so we have someone in our LB ing corp that can chase him down as to not have games like the Fins did against us last year !!!
