This is the same guy that at one point thought that EJ wasn't given the proper time to develop into a NFL QB not to mention how the guy flip flops back & forth on other issues . Plus his stupid nick names he gives players TRE DAY - TRE DAY - TRE DAY - REALLY ????

I wouldn't put Marrone in the genius category but Defense wins championships & if that holds true that team has a HUGE chance at winning it all !! I will be interested to see next year if they lose a couple of their coaches to other teams like their D coordinator if Marrone can keep them at the top of the heap because if he is anything like a lot of these coaches & puts total faith into a new coordinator & changes things just enough to screw it up (kind of like the Bills have done on their offense) then he will be just another coach that everything fell into place . But if that were to happen & he had to change a coordinator & he has the where with all to hire some one with a similar scheme to keep continuity then i would say he is a good coach but i wouldn't put him in the brilliant category !!

Look at last years game tape when the Bills basically took himont of the game !!

Sure it would be nice to see Tyrod go off & use his GGT to light up the skies with long bombs & 300+ yd games but just like the Bills game against Tampa bay which Winston threw for a bunch of yards & still lost at the end to our QB that didn't put up a ton of yds . Alls i care about is that the Bills win i don't care if it's through the air a lot or a little i just want them to win ! There has been a lot of games this year that the QB has put up insane numbers in the passing game & still have come up on the short end of the stick . I'm no football expert but from anything i've seen to this point i don't think the Bills O will be very good until they get the right O coordinator !! There is a article on Rumblings this morning that says all that needs to be said about this years offense which a number of articles here & on other sites have discussed this year . I don't believe that any of these coaches old or new that are hired by a new team know or understand the old adage that "IF IT AINT BROKE DON'T FIX IT !!'

Maybe a proven LT, a first round pick from KC, & a QB package would be enough to trade up to get the QB they need/want in this upcoming draft !!

That will never happen with McBean & company in control they want players that aren't disruptive in the fold this guy is 10 times worse than Dareus was at showing up on time & Marcel is gone so what does that tell us ...

I think Whaley was a decent GM . He definitely has a really good eye for talent but his down fall was more the HC's & ownership ! He was asked (after ownership hired the coaches) by said coach to get certain players to match the schemes that that coach wanted to implement which he did, but by the owners (or Brandon) pushing for what he thought was a good coaching hire (Marrone then Rex) screwed the pooch being Whaley . Whaley #1 fault backing Brandon as to who to hire as coach !! Then giving the coach what he needed was his down fall . I would think if you have a team full of players that fit a 4/3 scheme on defense that was doing as well as they were when Morrone left or a offensive blocking scheme that had the team in the top 5 rushing for 2 seasons (with Rex/Lynn) the GM/ownership would think to either hire coaches with schemes that played closer to the players abilities in stead of hiring a coach (Rex) that employed a 3/4 D that totally goes against the roster . Thats like having a business that is doing really well & revamping it every 2 years because someone doesn't have a clue (Brandon) or is just going along for the ride . Whaley should have (being the football guy he is) stood up for keeping continuity with what was being built previously when it came to hiring a coach that had a similar scheme background to better match the roster that they had been building . Those coaches being Shwartz or Lynn which last i checked have their new teams playing pretty good & most likely going to the play offs . I think if either of those coaches would have stayed & been elevated to HC the Bills play off drought would be over by now or fixing to be over . Not that i don't like the McDermott hire i just hope they give him time to do what he needs to build a winner . But what do we know were just fans ...

What ever they do next season i know they need a new O line coach because this blocking scheme for the players the Bills have SUCKS !! The only thing Juan has is choosing to go to the Ravens at the right time to have a SB ring for doing little or nothing, he may be a good guy but even when he was in Philly & Reid put him in charge of the of the D (i think it was) every one thought that was a head scratcher ... Should have kept Kromer but the Rams are glad we didn't !!!

I heard a part of this scenario on another post but i added to it . In this years draft the G men have the second over all pick & seeing as Cordy has been nursing a foot ailment & Tyrod doesn't seem as though he will be around next year take the first round pick from KC package it with Cordy & Tyrod for their second over all first round pick !! The Giants need a proven LT & the Bills could get rid of his contract especially as Dawkins has filled in very well & can be around longer for cheaper !! I know it's a good dream but hey that's what Bills fans do best ...

The Pats loss was the first game of the season & the Bills beating the Cheif's was after the Cheif's fell back to earth . So ill stick with my thoughts of how the teams are playing now instead of 3 months ago . Just sayin !!

And if the Pats beat us that bad & the Fins whooped the Pats what exactly does that mean for the Bills play off chances ?? How many wins will the Bills get out of the last 3 games ? I'm thinking 1 maybe ... home games or not !!

L.A. is all show no go ! It will be the same after they get the billion dollar stadium & it is only filled when they use it for the SB !! There is to many sports teams in one state L.A. Rams/Chargers/Clippers/Lakers/Dodgers/Angels /Kings Oakland. Raiders/A's/GS Warriors San Francisco. 49er's/Giants Trojans/UCLA/Cal That's not including minor league teams , sure there are a lot f people that live out there but the interest is not enough to float all of those teams !!

Sorry but i don't think we have a chance at it this year ! If the Bills could have won some of the games they should have (like the Jets game) then maybe but they didn't The only way is if who ever turned off the switch after the first 6 games turns it back on then we can have a good chance . The Pats are another loss & i think the Fins we could split so i'm not feeling it this year .. Which sucks but hey I'm a Bills fan !!

While Humber was hurt this guy played his butt off & made a lot of plays it almost seemed as though when Humber came back that was when the D started its down hill slide . I I thought McD would see that & change things back & have Humber as the rotation guy ... I think Millano is a better fit for this D it needs his speed !!

While reading a bunch of different articles posted here i came across a rumblers reply that said he thought the Bills should "Offer up Cordy glenn (seeing as Dawkins has played really well at LT) & the first round they got from KC to the NY Giants for there first round pick at #2 ." I thought seeing as Glenn has been hurt , Dawkins has filled in admirably & the G-men need a starting LT it could work very well & the Bills get to dump Glenns contract & have more cap room in order to help absorb the Dareus dead money & have more cash to pay for FA's to help in areas the team needs upgrades at . Sounds like a pretty happening plan to me ...

Don't see what they saw in this guy , inherited a good O line & a top rushing offense & turned them into one of the most inconsistent offenses in the league !! He's my choice for assistant coach of the year !!

As it looks right now the Bills are still in a quagmire at the QB position as we have all seen . We as fans always hope because TT is a good team mate & a team guy that he can become a real good QB & score just the points needed to get victories but doesn't or can't !! With that being said i was wondering if the Bills fans would mind or want Mc Bean & company to pul a Whaley type deal to get say a Baker Mayfield or a Josh Rosen in this years draft & package 2 first round picks to get either or just take the best player that falls to them at what looks now to be a #18 draft pick ?? I always thought the Sammy pick was foolish when OBJ was there along with a lot of other good players that the Bills passed on (which seems to be a recurring theme) but if you have a franchise type QB which no one coming out of college is a bonafide 100% guaranteed Tom Brady QB , but some one that has that kind of potential . There are certain kinds of players that come out & you just get the feeling that they can change the fortune of the team that drafts them & it looks as thought there may be a couple of those in this draft & the Bills need one at the QB position . So would you pull that kind of deal or would you sit back & take your pick as it falls ? You be the Bills GM & call it as you see fit !!

I think good receivers start with good or great QB play !! You put the receivers that we have with a Brady, Rothlesberger, or A Brees & you have a good NOT great receiving group !! But when you have a QB that for what ever reason holds the ball to long & can't put it in a tight window or throw with any anticipation you have a Buffalo offense ... I think the Bills top priority will be getting a QB in the draft & that may be (depending on who they get) the start of a turn around but until then same ole same ole !!!
