It all starts in the trenches on both sides of the ball if the O or D line doesn't do it's job the team is usually not very good . The Bills usually have one side doing good but not the other hopefully McD can change that !!

I agree Whaley when paired with McD had a great draft & i think if he would have had someone like that prior to McD's hiring as a HC he would have done much better & had a number of better players drafted by him to show for his time ! But given that every HC that got hired while he was the GM had such a different plan & the Pegs swinging for the fences with the Rex hire i think helped to put Whaley in a spot where the pressure was a lot more than normal then you add Brandon in the mix & that was a terrible addition to what was going on !! Whaley was a wheeler dealer & if paired with others that could have given him a better path due to him being a rookie GM i think he could do a much better job than he did but the incompetence that surrounded him didn't help him or the Bills at all especially when it came to writing contracts thank goodness for Bean in that department !!

It was Crossmans fault that's why they got rid of him !!

Tyrone Wheatley just came available he was with the Bills for a while can't remember who was the coach then but i think the Bills did pretty good with him as their RB coach ? If this guy isn't all that & a bag of chips maybe they should talk with Tyronne ...

Wasn't this the guy that had the girl friend that after filing charges the first time came forth & said she was just filing charges because he broke up with her ? Then after that it went away for a while then it came back up again for what ever reason . I'm not saying this guy is innocent in any way shape or form, but whenever this stuff comes about i always think of Bill Burr's comedy skit about Gold Diggin Whores ! Some of these women are actually that evil not saying that this is the case just sayin !!

I was hoping that they would have a shot at picking up the guy from Bama in the draft but seeing the teams that are a head of the Bills in the draft & winning the last game putting us in the 9th pick in the draft i think Williams will be long gone before the Bills pick comes around . I do believe Bean will have a good choice for where we pick at & i wouldn't put it past him to concocted a way to go up & get Williams if he is still there at a higher pick seeing as there is always some one looking to move in the draft . Even if he goes with eh BPA it will be good for the teams future ...

Don't understand why he isn't being interviewed more seeing as he was a 1st rounder & his contributions to the team have been substantial in his 1st season !

Didn't McD say he didn't want any cry baby prima donna's on his team ? I don't see Bean making a play for guys like either of those possibly leaving the Steelers but I could see Gruen or the Redskins making a run at both of them !

BIG mistake by McD letting Kromer get out the door especially given his ratings the couple of years he was here I'd think the Bills would be much better off if they had kept him but i bet the Rams are forever grateful for McD's misstep !! I don't understand why new HC's coming in to a team don't look at what was there prior to their hire & keep those assistants that were a good fit & did well before they were hired ! Both Rex & McD have done that in Rex case being a defensive Guru ? that he is i could see why Schwartz basically walked away but with the case of McD i don't get why he let Kromer & some others walk given that they say consistency in the NFL has a lot to do with a teams success !!

Being rated close to the lowest run game in the league i'm not sure McD or Bean will be happy the only way they will be happy is if they are #1 & in win a SB with who they had i think they will always be looking to be better & that shows with the firing of Castillo . The guys they have may be on the 90 man roster going into OTA's but if some one else out performs them they won't be on the final 53 !!

I'd at least throw it out there & see if they bite but i don't think they will trade their best offensive weapon !! And i'm sure Dalton might have something to say about that if they put him on the trading block ...

Just sign him to a extension that will be performance based that way he will be hungry & continue to get better !!

Sure bring him in as long as there is a clause in his contract to leave his "it's all about me" attitude in Pittsburg the reason why i say that is because there are people writing about how he is all booty hurt because Smith Shuster was voted MVP on the Steelers . We don't need a guy that isn't happy to see another team mate do well & that be the motivation for him to do better especially after the contract he got can you say Primadonna !!

I think Bean will look over every thing until he finds the right guy or players to do what they are looking to do in their offense , I would love to see them pick up some one like a Brown from the Steelers . Given the fact that he pouts so much & by his actions now that the team gave Shuster the MVP & he's all booty hurt i don't think he would be the type to go after even if he is a really really good player .

It reaffirms my faith in McD as a good HC ! He's not afraid to make those decisions based on performance & to do it quickly !! And i don't understand is some here saying they don't understand the firing ? I don't know what else they need to see as far as the run game goes especially given what this says in the above picture ...

I don't get why they sign a guy that went 20 & 27 W/L while a starter i know he's seen a lot of football but Barkley has as good or better insight on the game which i think was proven by his first start for the Bills . I think the roster spot could be better used maybe bring him back as a QB coach but not to use a roster spot when they could bring in another player to help the cause ...

He won't be there at 9 that was one reason why i wanted the Bills to lose the game against the Fins so they would have a better shot at him with the other teams ahead of the Bills in this draft there's no way he makes it to 9 unless Bean pulls off a move to move up & get him !!

I feel some of that goes on the owner ! Just since Ralph sold the team the Bills have had a really good 4/3 defense & hired a coach that was a 3/4 guy makes no sense what so ever ! If there is a need to change the HC then why not get some one with a resume that has worked with the same type of personal that the team has been building or drafting for unless of coarse you are in a place like the Cards & are going to possibly gut the team & start over & go in a completely different direction then i could see a scheme change . But to do wha the Bills have done go from 4/3 to 3/4 back to a 4/3 just doesn't make a tone of sense & they wonder why they can't start winning go figure !!
