  1. I don't care about the NFL past the Bills.
  2. ESPN, like all of the cable news networks, erased all the "news" from their broadcasts and replaced it with wall to wall opinion of generic, interchangeable "experts."
  3. It was ok. Big problem for me is all I see and hear is Brian the Dog.
  4. This network is a spilled printer toner disaster. I like her but this will embolden her to screw up so bad she'll get herself and a whole bunch of other people fired. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2017/09/14/espn-denies-trying-to-bench-jemele-hill-for-calling-trump-white-supremacist.html
  5. I doubt he'll play another down for the Texans. All that garbage he's taken has worn out his body. He spends more time being suspended or injured than playing football.
  6. "It looks nice, though. So I have that going for me. Which is nice." Haha. I love this line.
  7. Foam crown molding and a foldable wheelbarrow are tied for first.
  8. Romo created a new prototype for in-game announcers.
  9. If McDermott is smart, he trusts Frazier to draw up the game plan and keep himself out of it. IMO, it'd be dumb to trot out there the same things he did in Carolina and expect it to be effective. That'd be something Rex would do.
  10. Beth Mowins: Excellent. Rex Ryan: With more experience, he might be better but... my guess is that old habits die hard and he doesn't prepare as he should. Sergio Dipp: Tire fire. I thought he was going to hyperventilate. They should not roll him out again.
  11. It's hard to take anything away from that CAR/SF game because SF looked like it needed another three months of preseason to get ready. it'll be interesting to see how Rivera and McDermott game plan each other. I really think some of these newcomers to the board need a lengthy suspension when they act out. This particular type of thread has been a staple of the board for a long time (I've been reading it since 2010) and despite being told by several posters with thousands of posts to their name, he/she kept going.
  12. I tend to agree with the OP. The better coaches in the league draw up different plays depending on the opponent. The lack of adapting to the opponent has been a significant issue with recent Bills coaches. It'll be interesting to see if McDermott is different. You're not going to use yesterday's defense to adequately defend Cam Newton next week.
  13. They looked slow. They won't win track meets like last night.
  14. Bills and Patriots have identical records on the eve of their first match up this year.
  15. Killer instinct from the start. Bold plays and no punts at 4th and 1 inside Jets territory.
  16. FWIW, my uncle and family lives in Port Richey and they are headed to Pennsylvania for an impromptu vacation to see everybody. Rolling out today. Their house was destroyed by Andrew in 1992 and they lost everything (the contents of their house was spread over blocks) so they moved not only north but to the other coast of FL. In his non-expert opinion, Irma looks like Andrew but with a lot more power. It's extremely dangerous living in the post 72-96 hours of a hurricane-wrecked area and you're very exposed and they remember it.
  17. Eh............I have two questions regarding the offense in relation to the Bills power ranking summary above. When Rick Dennison was hired, wasn't it lauded as being a positive for Tyrod Taylor's development? Why all of a sudden, based on some vanilla offense shown in preseason, that's no longer the case? Why is the deep ball threat so important all of a sudden given Dennison's expertise in the WCO?
  18. Triple tight end sets! I'm actually intrigued if that'd work. That might be Key and Peele's greatest bit. They've been smart not to do more. It's perfect as it is. Cracks me up everytime.
  19. I'm reserving judgement until after Game 3. It's at that point that teams have tape and can game plan. You'll see what this coach is made of at that point.
  20. I always read these posts in MovieFone voice. I'll see Kingsman. I think people will see IT and ultimately be disappointed. Why? Nobody out traumatizes a Tim Curry Pennywise.
  21. Not me. The man has the right to protest. He's doing it peacefully and he's not violating any NFL rule (as far as I know.)
  22. I'd cut him and wouldn't look back. I've had this opinion since his last suspension. He's just a larger Josh Gordon. The inevitability is that he will get suspended indefinitely by the league and the Bills don't have to have that anchor around their necks. Let some other franchise take that risk. He's the kind of person that won't ever have enough chances to redeem your faith in him and I won't be surprised at all if the new leadership cuts the cord on Saturday.
  23. Hopes: Wenning throws for 400 yards, 5 TDs and fans lose their minds. Expectations: Less penalties and at least the appearance the coaches have their acts together.
  24. It's hilarious that Ducasse remains on this team. He's that terrible. He's literally VX nerve gas - just a little exposure of Ducasse in the game gets everyone killed. The only reasonable rationale for John Miller not starting Week #1 is a coach being blinded by hubris and ego, an obvious workplace hazard in the NFL.
  25. Spikes would have been a multiple Pro Bowl attendee...if he played in the 80s.
