  1. The first amendment in action, demonstrating what makes this country unique in the world, and nobody is happy.
  2. There are five Dareuses (sp?) to every one Alexander. Alexander takes care of himself year round and is a football player not just an athlete. The Bills deserve credit too for giving him the opportunity to excel at a position other than special teams.
  3. The Cards are the NFC team I follow. They got old *quick*. The team still employs Karlos Dansby. Palmer should have retired last year, there is no running game, and their offensive line shift has been a disaster. They made Veldheer switch from LT to RT (after playing LT in college and his entire NFL career).
  4. Anyone tune into the documentary that's currently airing on PBS? Any thoughts?
  5. I agree. It only takes a single case where a school system or university is held liable, to kill the NFL. The league wouldn't have any players because schools won't dare risk being liabile. The other route is if CTE can be detected in a living body and NFL owners are sued for knowingly employing brain damaged men in a sport where you take hits to the head.
  6. For some reason, the "quote" button doesn't work today Poojer so here's my response to why I suggest Taylor Swift is a headcase. 1. Men don't stick around in relationships with her. That's a telling point. For how attractive, successful and wealthy she is, men check out in weeks, months. This suggests something is wrong there. 2. Local knowledge. (She grew up here.) 3. If you're bored, check out her 73 questions video on YouTube that Vogue magazine puts together of various models and "stars" allegedly in their own homes, unscripted.
  7. Pure speculation but I've wondered if detonating nuclear weapons underground has "jostled" something that results in having two quakes in Mexico and one in Japan, all in a relatively short period of time. ...and even further speculation - did it trigger underwater ocean volcano activity that has led to warmer ocean waters to spin up this series of hurricanes?
  8. She's a headcase. As is Taylor Swift.
  9. I think the Saints might end up being the worst team in the league. Sean Payton and Mickey Loomis have gotten by on reputation for years and I think this year it finally implodes. The Giants look and play old. Carson Palmer should have retired in the offseason. The empty stadiums are becoming noticeable. The Chargers and Rams play to half filled stadiums and the Falcons looked like they had less than a full stadium for their home opener.
  10. You know what I see as a fan? Coaches way too slow to adjust or modify the "plan."
  11. Too heavy and out of football shape. He doesn't take his career seriously.
  12. This is why the tanking "theory" was completely ignorant of economics and reality. When you're in the cellar in value and more than likely revenue too, you don't have the luxury of sucking on purpose.
  13. "How much was on Dennison as Nate Hackett 2.0?" I'd say 75%. Dennison's a scared man with the game plans the first two weeks just like Hackett was. Zay Jones probably got the last play of the game simply because that was the next play up on the script and he's blindly devoted to the script, the "process" if you will.
  14. I don't care about the NFL past the Bills.
  15. ESPN, like all of the cable news networks, erased all the "news" from their broadcasts and replaced it with wall to wall opinion of generic, interchangeable "experts."
  16. It was ok. Big problem for me is all I see and hear is Brian the Dog.
  17. This network is a spilled printer toner disaster. I like her but this will embolden her to screw up so bad she'll get herself and a whole bunch of other people fired. http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2017/09/14/espn-denies-trying-to-bench-jemele-hill-for-calling-trump-white-supremacist.html
  18. I doubt he'll play another down for the Texans. All that garbage he's taken has worn out his body. He spends more time being suspended or injured than playing football.
  19. "It looks nice, though. So I have that going for me. Which is nice." Haha. I love this line.
  20. Foam crown molding and a foldable wheelbarrow are tied for first.
  21. Romo created a new prototype for in-game announcers.
  22. If McDermott is smart, he trusts Frazier to draw up the game plan and keep himself out of it. IMO, it'd be dumb to trot out there the same things he did in Carolina and expect it to be effective. That'd be something Rex would do.
  23. Beth Mowins: Excellent. Rex Ryan: With more experience, he might be better but... my guess is that old habits die hard and he doesn't prepare as he should. Sergio Dipp: Tire fire. I thought he was going to hyperventilate. They should not roll him out again.
  24. It's hard to take anything away from that CAR/SF game because SF looked like it needed another three months of preseason to get ready. it'll be interesting to see how Rivera and McDermott game plan each other. I really think some of these newcomers to the board need a lengthy suspension when they act out. This particular type of thread has been a staple of the board for a long time (I've been reading it since 2010) and despite being told by several posters with thousands of posts to their name, he/she kept going.
  25. I tend to agree with the OP. The better coaches in the league draw up different plays depending on the opponent. The lack of adapting to the opponent has been a significant issue with recent Bills coaches. It'll be interesting to see if McDermott is different. You're not going to use yesterday's defense to adequately defend Cam Newton next week.
