I can relate to what OP's feeling. I'm sure I'll tune in next season but for now apathy has set in. I still peruse the site out of habit, but I'm really not interested enough to click on many threads. The only thing I find interesting about football right now is my fantasy team and the 2018 draft class.

Actually, sustaining drives and keeping your defense off the field improves their numbers quite a bit.

Except only 2 of the 6 you listed fit your narrative. And there were other blow outs you didn't list. Like Buf v NYJ.

Not quite. If you're trying to show it's common for starting QBs to be pulled from losing teams at the end of blow outs you've picked poor examples. The only two that fit what you describe are Manning and Flacco (both are SB winning QBs over 30). Palmer and Mariota were pulled before the second half of those games due to injury, Matt Moore, (as you stated) played the whole game, and Brissett came in at the end for Tolzein and took over the starting job. It does not appear that pulling young QBs to protect them in blow out losses is all that common.

I don't see anything about destroying their careers. I just see a guy throwing his client under the bus for propositioning women to engage in what appears to be a consensual encounter. I think conflating this with people who actually force themselves on women or pressure them into quid pro quo situations is destructive. I really don't see a meaningful distinction between asking a girl if she wants to !@#$ and asking her if she wants to watch you jerk off. The only difference is that the latter seems weird, but to each his own. Just because they're not the same doesn't make one inherently wrong. If you're having drinks with a girl and ask her if she'd like to see your satin sheets it's quite a bit different from asking her if she'd like to go on a picnic, but it doesn't make it wrong outside of puritanical circles. Is trying to get laid a crime?

Tyrod is probably going to start but I imagine he's on a very short leash. If he plays the first half of the next game like he has the last two it wouldn't be surprising to see Peterman start the second half.

He really didn't. I thought at the time that the NFL had figured out how to stop Tyrod Taylor and that appears to be the case. The Jets game plan was simple. Rush 5 and stack the box. They weren't even mixing it up. Most QBs, even the average ones, would have made them pay with quick passes to the single-covered receivers, but he folded.

Hopefully he's just setting up the Chargers to game plan for TT.

Do we know if that's true? I haven't heard anything about him wrecking their careers. It's my understanding that these were not his employees but just other comics working the circuit. I don't know that for sure, but that's what I read.

Don't know if it's been mentioned much, but this move is amplified by the fact that this upcoming draft is supposed to be very thin at WR.

We lost to the lowly Bengals who just barely eeked out a 1 point win against the Colts to bring them to 3-4. We can lose to anyone.
