  1. Looked like that was payback for something. Given Burfict's history I'll give Shuster the benefit of the doubt. Assuming Burfict took a shot at one of their guys earlier I respect it. It would be nice to see a Bills player lay a hit like that on Gronk. Actually, when you watch it in slow motion it looks like he was leading with the shoulder to make a clean hit.
  2. It would be my preference. I'm not suggesting we should rewrite the constitution to facilitate my ideal, but if it were logistically feasible I'd keep socialists from migrating to my state. Unless she has big breasts and a nice ass.
  3. Actually, I have a problem with Northeastern liberals invading northern Virginia and turning a once proud state blue.We can debate the extent to which dual federalism should allow for state sovereignty, but the various states are still within the same country and article IV of the constitution gives them the right. Unless the person you're debating is arguing that the states are fully autonomous entities, independent of each other, your analogy fails for drawing a false equivalence. And Canadian, Mexican and Brazilian aren't races, so please explain yourself.
  4. So what's your proposal? Fully open borders where anyone and everyone who wants in gets citizenship? And are you suggesting that anyone who disagrees with that does so because of racism?
  5. One time this guy pissed me off so I smashed a bottle over his head. He got a concussion, but I apologized, so it was all good.
  6. Donald's good, but I think it's a little early to start comparing him to Matt Bryan.
  7. It's hard to get payback on Jones with Big Ben keeping him on the bench.
  8. The comparisons between Jeffrey and Watkins are a stretch. Jeffrey has been far more productive. They've both had durability issues, but Jeffrey logged 1400+ yd and 1100+ yd seasons, and was on pace for another 1400+ yd season before getting injured in 2015, and was on pace for a 1000+ yd season through 12 games in 2016 with Matt Barkley and Brian Hoyer throwing most of the passes. Watkins had one big season where he had 1047 yds in 13 games. In no other season has he reached 1000 yds even if you extrapolate what he would have had at his pace over 16 games. That includes this year. That's not to say he isn't talented or productive, but he hasn't produced anywhere near the level Jeffrey has.
  9. I do agree with OP that throughout Bills history worse has tended to lose.
  10. The biggest problem was the site was infested with emotionally stunted fanboys who couldn't tolerate having their fairy tales challenged, and most of the mods were among them. Shaw was a rare exception. In a way I pity them, because it's really pathetic for a grown man to power trip on his message board mod authority and dedicate his waking hours to tirelessly defend the honor of Doug Whaley and EJ Manwell. But most of those guys were insufferable douche nozzles that made that board unreadable and I'm glad they lost their little jobs.
  11. I didn't love or hate him. He seemed like a likeable guy who made some exciting moves, but never quite put it together. He was ok. Not great, not bad.
  12. It is kind of fukked up the way 18 year old kids are encouraged by authority figures to assume monumental debt, often to acquire unmarketable skills, with the promise of high paying jobs that often never materialize.
  13. The two that stick out to me most during the playoff drought are the NE game when Mckelvin fumbled the kick return and the Dallas game where we got something like 6 turnovers and still found a way to lose.
  14. The demise of BBMB is no great loss. I perused the forum from time to time but never thought much of it. The conversation was watered down by an abundance of inane posts and crusaders who polluted every thread with the same empty opinions repeated over and over. The moderation as a whole was absolutely abysmal. I never got banned, but I noticed that those who shared the opinion of certain mods stuck around while those who didn't got the boot for similar behavior. Some of it was just silly. I once got an infraction from T&C for typing "lmao" because the a was an abbreviation for ass. And Squatting Buffalo once hit me with a racial infraction because he claimed using the phonetic spelling of Manuel (Manwell) was somehow racist against Hispanics. Seriously. I get that it was the official team site, but come on. I'm not saying that TBD has never had a temperamental mod, but for the most part the moderators here do a great job and the level of discussion, analysis, and humor is on another level.
  15. Did anyone actually read the quote? He's not talking ****, he's saying that he's not affected by what happened in Buffalo before he got there.
  16. Take more shots down the field. Throw some deep 50/50 balls. I know we want to minimize turnovers, but a 40 yard pick is better than going 3 and out. At least you're creating the opportunity for a big play or PI call, and if nothing else you keep the defense honest. Even if our defense is dialed in you still have to expect the Pats to put up 20+. And this offense isn't going to top that playing small ball. It's probably a loss anyway so go balls to the wall and play to win. !@#$ the conservative approach.
  17. It's funny that you're willing to be as open minded as humanly possible with Franken but with Trump you've pretty much written him off as guilty with no supporting evidence. If there was anything to these accusations against Trump, don't you think the media would be all over it? Are you really claiming that the news media that has tirelessly campaigned against this guy with every piece of **** scandal they could drum up for the last 2+ years is covering for him on the one scandal that actually could destroy him?
  18. Do you have evidence of those allegations or of me presuming a liberal guilty based on unsubstantiated allegations?
  19. The people who want to keep Orton off the wall are the same people who want to keep TO out of the HOF.
  20. Franken admitted it. I tend to look at the strength of the evidence rather than my opinion of the accused.
  21. Those are unproven allegations, with Franken there's no question. That said, I don't care if Franken steps down or not. What he did was wrong, but it's not the most egregious case. I just don't like the false equivalence.
  22. How is anything Trump did remotely similar to what Franken did? One guy gropes a girl while she's unconscious, the other brags about being so money that he doesn't even have to try. They're not exactly comparable.
  23. I thought she was mildly amusing when her shtick was cracking on celebrities, but like so many others she seems to have abandoned what works for her to do something more "meaningful." What little I've seen of her doing political humor is objectively bad and the material is already being overused by more talented comedians. That market's floated. I mean seriously, how fukked up would you have to be for Hollywood to turn on you for bashing Trump?
  24. The HOF is a joke until TO is in. I don't know how anyone can even argue against him with a straight face. He was one of the biggest stars of a generation. People who don't even watch football know who he is. Anyone who leaves him off the ballot should have his voting rights stripped IMO.
