Richie Incognito working out for Raiders (update: Signed)

Well, I don’t think beane made him insane. And I don’t even mean that as a joke or derogatory. Dude was legitimately unwell. -

Well, he was certifiably crazy. So there’s that. -
I was pointing out that it’s very possible that after treatment and a few weeks rest a mid-30s tight end might feel better than he expected and decide to take the test knowing that if he doesn’t it’s a fail. its also possible he’s gaming the system but this particular player has been pretty excellent dude in the past. This would be more akin to if Kyle Williams changed his mind and got popped than if shawne merriman did is, roughly speaking, my point.

Well, the policy continues to test and considers a no show a positive. It does so to avoid exactly this type of situation being a workaround. For a guy his age to end the season injured and retire, to start a treatment and then when feeling better to have the itch to play again doesn’t seem crazy to me. What part of that doesn’t seem plausible to you? The dudes on the NFLPA’s Executive Committee, so he knows the rule and very much that he’d still be tested this offseason. I wasn’t going to play and then I decided to play seems pretty feasible.

I look forward to playing for a wild card to be the minimum standard and not a history making accomplishment -
ROCKPILE REVIEW - The Hopeless Optimist
NoSaint replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ironically, the big athletic qb with an arm, and speedy deep threats that open up the running game always seemed to be whaleys vision. Likely from his Pittsburgh ties. that they have come back around to it is one of the things that has me feeling more optimistic than I did looking at slower big bodies in Carolina and then bringing in KB here. Real speed outside plus a qb that can move the chains with his legs too is so hard to defend. Finding the right QB is tricky though. -
Is Donovan McNabb Hall of Fame Worthy?
NoSaint replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sometimes I think that “edge” is just fans loving to create soap opera storylines but McNabb not even knowing the tie rule late in his career I think underscores his casual approach to the most important position in sports. Very talented. Won a ton. But hard to embrace a guy like that as an all time great. -

Bingo. -
Eric wood was an injury settlement. Its basically just a contract buy out. A lot more likely to happen with camp fodder type players you don’t want to tie up resources in than a key vet that you hope can contribute and comes with a hefty price tag though.
-
We drafted one in the middle of the draft because we had what otherwise qualified as a bad group. A vet can get an injury settlement too. It’s just not practical for a major contract and having to replace a guy that’s expected to contribute.

PanchoBilla enters Hospice (Has now passed away)

Almost certainly not. It seems Ezra was a pretty solid dude, but the buffalo bills should not have a sombrero wearing caricature as their mascot. while I appreciate your positivity on this; little of it feels like a good idea in practice -
Is There Any Position That The Bills Got Worse In The Offseason?
NoSaint replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Our top 7 cap hits last year were dareus, wood, Tyrod, Benjamin, clay, McCoy, and Hughes. If if you show me another team that got less out of their biggest hits I’d be shocked. getting 50m in dead money back and lots of draft assets should result in a much improved roster. Not improving across the board would be catastrophic failure. -
The flip is, outside of rare incidence of a guy being a great blitzer in an otherwise not aggressive defense... sacks and pressure tend to go hand in hand.

I feel like you may be stretching how dynamic he is a little bit

Its really the only knock the director says it was a choice to balance a foreign sound but still be accessible. Outside a few scenes the shows been so strong that I barely notice it during the bulk -
To say it’s stocked is really shades of some posters last summer saying WR shouldn’t be a weakness
