  1. Beaser? And you are criticizing someone else’s work?
  2. Yea but they talked about that completely blown play that should’ve cost his team the super bowl today what an odd day to hype him
  3. Almost no one does, for starters. last year 7 cleared 15 and no one reached 20
  4. Thought is a UCL injury... unlikely to see him for a bit
  5. Not to mention, UB isn’t particularly good either
  6. It escalates by offense
  7. QBs simply don’t fit draft categories. A top ten back or TE or LT you expect to be a starter. A top ten QB is a coin flip, maybe. Allen was a raw unpolished guy and his range of draft discussions went from “won’t be the guy” to “has all the tools and could be the guy” for him to say he was in the latter category is darn near a compliment.
  8. When 50%(?) of top ten picks become starting QBs long term, I think you are overstating the expectation. Obviously you hope your guy is the guy but the reality is that you are just picking the guy that you think has the best shot not the guy you know is going to make it. If this slight gets you fired up on a Friday morning, have at it though.
  9. You see, what had happened was...
  10. Top ten will get a shot to start whether they are ready or not and many (most) do not establish themselves as nfl starters. Would you call EJ, for instance, an Nfl starter when discussing the tier of qb he was in his career?
  11. It’s a very fair comment on josh as a prospect. Huge upside but raw equates to potential to be an Nfl starting qb. Very rare are the slam dunk prospects and he wasn’t that guy.
  12. Im a huge advocate of everyone processing different and not to assume someone’s lying just cause it doesn’t fit into the mold of what we think is normal. It’s very possible, honestly statistically it’s incredibly probable that her story is true. Just don’t see it beneficial to anyone involved (or others dealing with similar outside this specific case) to rush into a judgement
  13. The flip side is going to his employer pressures him to settle fast. It’s still easy to write narratives on both sides. folks will gravitate towards preconceived notions of these types of accusations and of the public figures involved and tend to shoehorn facts to fit. Heck, even my own wait and see is a product of that.
  14. If you see that you are making assumptions I’m not sure why you asked me what jumps that you were making that may not be factual I’d assume until after the meeting business as usual still once they have evidence they may make a change. Wont lie, odd that she would talk to his employer but not the police... but people can do all kinds of odd things in traumatic situations. It’s part of what makes it hard to figure out from afar like we are.
  15. If you can write that and honestly don’t understand the assumptions in it, I’m not going to be able to explain them to you
  16. I haven’t jumped to an opinion yet- but that’s not a particularly solid take. You are taking several jumps that may or may not be true Could definitely be a bunch of things. Will be a huge story no matter what (unless he settles and she gets quiet)
  17. Oddly you say it’s obvious there was no consent but also only call it on the border of assault. without consent it’s very clearly a crime however we don’t know what happened, at least yet.
  18. Theres honestly not a ton that wasn’t in the tweets featured in the thread.
  19. If the released emails are indicative, there’s no confession- and I think putting someone on the exempt list should take more than a suit simply being filed. He should answer for this if something is relatively proven but at this time based on what’s out there - it’d be wrong to exempt him
  20. We didn’t look near as good as the record and I suspect most knew it Yup. It was very much public knowledge at the time.
  21. It’s traditionally a 2 year recovery for what he dealt with. I think you can mark him down as 2 good years, 2 injured years and a down year with the chiefs through 5 seasons. This will be an interesting crossroads as year 2 in the system, fully healed, and their top option
  22. Indeed. If getting super technical I might say just take the penalty and save the timeout but splitting hairs pretty thin at that point
  23. That mantra is so played out. I’ll take a 12-4 season playing plenty of bad teams struggling with adversity and hopefully have to win just two home games vs solid opponents to be in the super bowl I’d love a division we could consistently sweep leaving just 1 game above splitting the rest to earn a top 2 seed.
  24. WM in 2016 would need a multiplier for a guy getting inked in 2020. The cap will have gone up considerably. Also 4 year 32m would be 8m per year. Itll be be interesting to see how the season plays out
