hell, our FB pulled 2 defenders 30 yards out of the play- a win until we throw it at him if He pancaked two guys we’d celebrate him

McDermott: Josh Allen 'tried to do too much' in loss

after that display I’m a lot more understanding of the hand cuff him til you can’t approach than I once was at one point. I didn’t think he had THAT in him. -

it’s generally not called dead on at 0- if the nfl wanted it’d be an easy fix to have the clock tied to the officials but leaving it visual they seem a-okay with about a second lag as standard margin of error. -

Yea they really rigged it here. -
How long would the FG have been from in OT?

I’d want another reply but it felt like I’ve seen similar called in other teams games this year -
Are you complimenting him or insulting them? Just something to think about.

he’s a fine #5-6 but those calling for him to start are out of touch with the league. hes a fringe guy that can fill in injury or packages but you need several guys much better than him on a roster.

What Changes will be made this Offseason?

I didn’t say or even imply we need to replace him. though there are lots of red flags there are some promising bits to. but to say it was a great half I want it to be a good half compared to good QBs playing good ball not compared to josh playing bad ball. To give it “A” grades, call it great, or brilliant as the board has I want it to be a better than average half for any of the big time guys. He played ok in the first half and showed some progression but also got away with a few of his usual challenges. that he didn’t miss easy throws by 4 ft isn’t a brag -

If we aren’t playing like a real contender next year one of McD, beane or Allen won’t be here the year after. losing wild card games shouldn’t be an aspiration any more. Next year is hosting and winning a playoff game as a baseline expectation. Preferably more than 1 but anyone expecting less than that should also be calling for change. -

dude got away with a telegraphed pick 6, barely had a knee down on his fumble and was a part of the mess with the clock. And the only touchdown was thrown by brown. we were up, he did some good things but I don’t like this narrative of a great half. -

At least another season?!? So like year 5 of McDermott? At least it makes more sense that you were celebrating dukes effort after not catching a ball. -

because only PI is reviewable as far as penalties also mentioned in the game thread- the tv clock is not the official clock and sometimes there are discrepancies. May or may not be the answer. -
You still have to play to win and that includes passing.

I still think you are overstating the first. He played well - at times excellent but he got very lucky a few times. If the same exact throw was a pick 6 and the same exact tackle had his knee up about a tenth of a second for the fumble it wouldn’t have been brilliant and would’ve changed nothing in his actual play. He also was disorganized on the end of half along with the coaches- the greats playing brilliantly don’t have that happen there. for a LONG stretch too it wasn’t a bad play or something. Amazed they couldn’t reel him back in at any point honestly gives me pause about times I’ve said McD keeps him too tight if that’s what could happen

how you think we can evaluate play calling while josh was COMPLETELY out of control for a large bit of that is beyond me. with dabs in the box I’m curious who Allen’s “guy” is on the sidelines to manage his emotions
