  1. counter: if he could have traded for tackle avoiding height of his career Deion sanders he would’ve. at this point in the season strength and attitude are cheaper and more readily available than speed/skill coincidentally, we could use some attitude so it’s not bad but I don’t know if he sought that archetype as much as those are the type you can snag cheap in November
  2. that it’s not the most egregious doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be all in on it or the week after is more important it’s a big afc game head to head with a team we may fight for a wild card, or even home field later
  3. especially if they lose this one and end up on the outside looking in down the stretch
  4. I do not think most believe he has any direct knowledge I don’t think that he’s dabbling in anything even bordering on protected. Kirk cousins calf wiggling on national tv and a guy like this saying that sure looks like an Achilles, we will see him next year isn’t particularly invasive, right? You could quickly cross into over representing what you know, or being shady… and I’ve only seen a little bit of his I have a few others in my feed that I think do this quite ethically and relatively consistently with a good bit of accuracy on the ranges of outcomes, the potential ramp up periods for production on the field based on the different possibilities etc….
  5. I mean, as a guy giving cliff notes fantasy football advice based on semi educated guesses… I don’t mind these guys chiming in. It’s not like he’s prescribing medical treatment without seeing the patient. You seem pretty worked up about them.
  6. haaaaate it. and in a heavy bye week for fantasy football, with 9ers, jags and lions impacted. at some point the nfl has to worry a little about fantasy football being the golden goose, not European expansion yea. I get that they are by definition money driven but…. It would be cool if their data showed integrity and quality of product was more valuable in the branding
  7. plus whatever we spend the cap space savings on as well
  8. I’ll keep referring to thursdays playcalling as a good husband that got caught cheating. Dorsey took out the trash, kept up the house, was kind…. And had catastrophic possibly unforgivable lapses. are you willing to go into the Super Bowl with a guy that is unable to handle such a basic situation if it’s a 1 score game in the 4th and the trophy is on the line? Say its overtime on the first drive of the big game? Ok with shotgun run with Murray followed by a pass?
  9. which ironically we essentially did gift 3(?) times with those defensive penalties. For all intents and purposes those were turnovers. I think the realization that’s frustration is say it’s 4th and 2 for our offense vs 4th and 5 for the defense… which side do you trust to close out the game? talent says our offense. Health says our offense. Play calling makes it a complete wild card for our offense.
  10. meh. The 3rd down call on the first drive and goal line flop on the second were ugly. Josh straight out of the medical tent straight to a naked play action bootleg? Even in the first half the coaches weren’t handling business in big moments.
  11. I suspect they thought it was taken off him and just came down in the scuffle to grab on it? I thought the crew in NY would’ve chimed in though. Maybe letting the kicker off the hook based on position though.
  12. my guess is that the numbers reveal long returns aren’t super common. Offenses move the ball anyway and that the turnover or penalty prospect is just consistently a little more punishing than the return yardage
  13. I don’t know the stats, but yea, a returner fumbling. I’m not pretending it’s ultra common. just in evaluating the risk reward you can’t pretend the only variable is a long return and not a bad outcome for the returner.
  14. meh we are in a window where guys improve very quickly. Breece halls been working through that window and gotten much more explosive for instance. We are about in the right spot where between improving health and added conditioning he may not get to 100% but the run from 70%-90+ should move quickly the next couple weeks I believe
  15. or they hold or they fumble
  16. what’s revisionist about me saying he doesn’t have the arm? when in those big moments he was forced to put the ball into tight nfl windows that he wasn’t capable of consistently achieving. still a great dude that is wish the best to even though I didn’t want him at qb
  17. I expect us to run Josh (possibly twice) and kick an extra point that we had a shotgun run followed by a pass was the issue. Sure the play wasn’t well executed, but no execution should’ve really been asked.
  18. I love fitz when he’s not throwing the ball for the bills in crunch time. No one forgot his arm was weak by nfl standards and needs. Everyone appreciates the man he is.
  19. we have guys that if schemed up can get yac. Have you not seen harty with the ball in his hands? Did we just burn the McKenzie section of the playbook?
  20. it was the best terrible day I’ve ever watched. Dorsey was the good husband that got caught cheating. The reliable employee that pocketed a couple bucks. You want to justify that everything was solid on paper but he had about 5 of the most ridiculous calls possible and 4 were in huge moments. that Josh was making a read is a fail there
  21. Shocking they haven’t forced it to evans
  22. Did it again
  23. It’s been a big output but many of the biggest moments are Dorsey fails at critical times, alongside Josh being Superman to carry the team
  24. Sometimes I take for granted what a good pass catcher diggs is
  25. just some crossers and end arounds like mckenzie would be great
