  1. Out of the 53 man roster either 45 or 46, not sure which, are allowed to be active plus one "emergency" (third string) quarterback. If the "emergency" quarterback is used, the first two can not come back. If he is one of the 45 (46?) active players then he could come in but look for him to be the third string emergency quarterback. Hope that makes sense.
  2. Assuming he is listed as the third string quarterback if he comes in neither of the other two could come back. So you can't just bring him in to throw a hail mary at the end of the first half. Hope he sees some time before the year is out
  3. Not sure how true this is but I've heard that you should send a checki in for $2 over the fine. When you get a refund check for the $2 don't cash it. This prevents the case from closing and the points do not go on your license. For future reference: As soon as you get pulled over roll down your window and stick your arms out. This lets the cop know he is not in danger, kind of puts him/her in a less confrontational mood. This one I can vouch for, got out of 75 in a 55 with a warning as well as blatantly running a red light with a warning.
  4. What do blondes say after sex? You guys all on the same team?
  5. Sounds depressing http://www.answers.com/topic/breaker-morant-film-1 Loved The Equalizer though
  6. Patterson is trying to do just this on a state level and we all know how popular he is...
  7. 13 point lead in the fourth quarter, holding on fourth and two with under 10 minutes, losing by a point. Remind you of another Buffalo team?
  8. as a season ticket holder I have decided not to let the game ruin the game day experience.
  9. Guilty...figure I'm better off minimizing chances for something bad, just stick with the devil I started with.
  10. OK, deffinitely not vacationing in Langely any time soon
  11. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/art...291/1/index.htm Would be surprised if any of us have ever heard of him. Never has made more then the league minium. Was cut a few times but keeps showing up somewhere. Wish he was a Bill but will route for him to preform well in a losing effort (for those of you that don't click on the link Favre is the oldes field player, this guy is the anti Favre.)
  12. All true, but what really impressed me was listening to him being interviewed. Sounded very intelligent.
  13. 4 PM for away games. as I spend to much on games to leave early and generally stick around for two plus hours to let traffic clear after the game, 1 is a better start time for home games.
  14. Good teams don't want to upset team chemistry. Other teams can just wait until the off season, sign him as a FA without giving up anything.
  15. The hit happens at 47 seconds, angle is loust but the replay immediately after shows 97 and 52 accelerating through Trent who is already down. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYlTE6JYoWQ
  16. Let it go. Face it, that kick is a microcosim of what it means to be a Buffalo fan (Bills or Sabres). Before winning two super bowls Elway was known for losing three (okay, maybe that's an exageration). Until the Bills can get the monkey of their (our) back and win a super bowl (or at least make it to the playoffs) we'll be know for losing four; wide right the defining moment. It is just how the country views us. Let it go.
  17. Admittedly I didn't listen to any talk shows today or any of the press conferences yesterday but I've been searching the web and haven't seen a thing on this. The hit was late, should have been flagged and fined. Would have been an ejection if it had been on Tom Terrific. Anyways would appreciate knowing if anyone has heard anything on this.
  18. Just finished saying this in another thread but yes, for his own health its time for him to retire. He's still affected from last years concussion imo, though I'm not a doctor. Now this. On a side note hope the bills send the film of the late hit on him to the league office
  19. Remember Trent was being touted as the league MVP for the first quarter of the season last year. Really think the hit in the Arizona game is still affecting him (he was 3 for 3 that game as well). After today I'm thinking it might be best for Trent to put the Stanford education to work and retire from football.
  20. things like this are why I've never played fantasy
  21. only thing that comes to mind is the same thing that is good about light beer..none in my refrigerator
  22. Number 4 below offers advice about the original question but this is all useful so posting the entire thing. Read this and make a copy for your files in case you need to refer to it someday. Maybe we should all take some of his advice! A corporate Attorney sent the following out to the employees in his company. 1. Do not sign the back of your credit cards. Instead, put 'PHOTO ID REQUIRED.' 2.. When you are writing checks to pay on your credit card Accounts, DO NOT put the complete account number on the 'For' line. Instead, just put the last four numbers. The credit card company knows the rest of the number, and anyone who might be handling your check as it passes through all the check processing channels won't have access to it. 3.. Put your work phone # on your checks instead of your home Phone. If you have a PO Box use that instead of your home address. If you do not have a PO Box, use your work address. Never have your SS# printed on your checks. (DUH!) You can add it if it is necessary. But if you have It printed, anyone can get it. 4.. Place the contents of your wallet on a photocopy machine. Do both sides of each license, credit card, etc. You will know what you had in your wallet and all of the account numbers and phone numbers to Call and cancel. Keep the photocopy in a safe place. I also carry a Photocopy of my passport when I travel either here or abroad. We've all heard horror stories about fraud that's committed on us in stealing a Name, address, Social Security number, credit cards. Unfortunately, I, an attorney, have firsthand knowledge because my Wallet was stolen last month. Within a week, the thieve(S) ordered an Expensive monthly cell phone package, applied for a VISA credit card, had A credit line approved to buy a Gateway computer, received a PIN number From DMV to change my driving record information online, and more. But here's some critical information to limit the damage in case this happens to you or someone you know: 5.. We have been told we should cancel our credit cards immediately. But the key is having the toll free numbers and your card Numbers handy so you know whom to call. Keep those where you can find them. 6.. File a police report immediately in the jurisdiction where your credit cards, etc., were stolen. This proves to credit Providers you were diligent, and this is a first step toward an Investigation (if there ever is one). But here's what is perhaps most important of all: (I never even thought to do this.) 7.. Call the 3 national credit reporting organizations Immediately to place a fraud alert on your name and also call the Social Security fraud line number. I had never heard of doing that until advised by a bank that called to tell me an application for credit was made over The Internet in my name. The alert means any company that checks your Credit knows your information was stolen, and they have to contact you by Phone to authorize new credit. By the time I was advised to do this, almost two weeks after the theft, all the damage had been done. There are records of all the Credit checks initiated by the thieves' purchases, none of which I knew about before placing the alert. Since then, no additional damage has been done, and the thieves threw my wallet away this weekend (someone turned it in). It seems to have stopped them dead in their tracks. Now, here are the numbers you always need to contact about your wallet, etc., has been stolen: 1.) Equifax: 800-525-6285 2.) Experian (formerly TRW): 888-397-3742 3.) Trans Union : 800-6807289 4.) Social Security Administration (fraud line):800-269-0271
