  1. unfortunately the latter (look at who our president is)
  2. [i have strictly avoided playing the jealousy card (even though that jealousy probably expresses what I am feeling to a tee) getting jealous or bitchy would make me look insecure. [/b] Playing this correct My current strategy is to feign ignorance and trying to make her good friends and co-workers think I'm a cool guy, you know like an everyman/ backslapper politician who is real easy going. If this is you then fine but if it isn't how long will you be able to keep it up? I don't think it is or you wouldn't have posted in the first place so... just start blatantly flirting more with her GFs or some my friends that are girls and see if that does anything. Not sure about blatantly but ignore her for a couple hours when you go out and socialize with girls and guys. Good luck
  3. This was a big deal when it happened in 76, the Bicentenial year "If that's all you're known for its not a bad thing at all" Rick Monday on being remembered primarily for this play after playing for 19 years
  4. I like Fine, mentioned it before the draft. Glad to see someone else does.
  5. 52 years old, been working out 5-10 times a week since the age of 12(yes, still do double sessions of cardio at least). A health teacher owned one of the gyms I belonged to, his advice on supplements was the best I've heard as well as the cheapest. Coffee or tea before you work out, caffeine works as well as an energy boost as any high dollared supplement. As far as getting motivated to work out if you are looking for a secret it just isn't going to happen. It is simply an unpleasant part of the day, kind of like getting out of bed at 5:30. Can't think about it, just have to do it. There's a reason its called working out, if it was fun it would be called drinking
  6. How many men does it take to do the dishes? None, its women's work How many men does it take to screw in a light bulb? None, if your wife can't screw it in herself let her do the dishes in the dark.
  7. The fans would kid with me and yell, ‘Hey Duby, you catch better on the sidelines than you do in the game!’ So I’d yell back, ‘That’s because I don’t get hit on the sidelines!’ ” Kind of makes you long for the days when it was a game first and a business second...
  8. Jaws said JP would be better than Eli M, Ben R, and Phillip R a few years ago...
  9. we may indeed be a bit gun shy draftingTexas players with a rep for taking plays off
  10. They also said it was their vain attempt to grade the draft as you can't really do that for 2-3 years. On paper the sheer number of db's makes higher grade more questionable.
  11. We'll see how he feels when JP uses his athleticism to help McNabb up after giving up 11-1/2 sacks
  12. Am I the only one that thinks what little we saw of Fine last year looked promising and tight end may not be our biggest need?
  13. it gets worse, he was drafted with the pick we traded for bledsoe
  14. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/foot...d.ap/index.html What is it with these guys...cops had to taser him, had gotten off on pot charges last month, probably won't help with Lynch's suspension if players aren't getting the message that you can't behave like this.
  15. Sam and Randall Cunningham are #7...should be #2.
  16. come back from 3-1 deficit in third, team comes out brawling after Max gets suckered following empty net goal
  17. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writ...ings/index.html Tried the search button, could not find where this had been discussed, apologies if I missed something. Cliff notes version owners are prepared for 2010 to be uncapped. This is not nearly as beneficial to players or beneficial to "rich" teams as one might think. Would require 6 years before FA eligilibity, final 4 and final 2 restrictions on acquiring free agents, teams would be able to use both franchise and transition tag in same year, various other safeguards to prevent a doomsday scenario for small market teams.
  18. Bills traded their #1, not an extra. After the trade the Bills had no #1 in 2003. Before the 2003 draft the Bills traded Peerless Price to Atlanta for their #1 so they ended up with a #1 but at the time of the trade the pick was not an "extra" #1
  19. Tell your brother he can relax, statute of limitations is up
  20. Well said, this pretty much sums it up
  21. Polian # 1 Donahoe # 2 Benching Flutie doesn't even crack the top 10
  22. Too bad its the fourth time this year the tail gate was the only good part of the game.
