Polian deserves all the credit for the Bennett trade...Marv fought with him until late in the night over that one. He also deserves credit for finding value the next two years with his first picks which were second round in 88 and third round n 89. (Given that we were drafting late in those round it was more like third and fourth rounds) The Patton pick was the first of a brutal 5 year span of second round draft picks (including 3 misses in the second round 94 draft...for those who are wondering why we had 3 second round picks that year back then the compensation for lost free agents was a lot more than it is now)...albeit Polian was not involved in any but the Patton pick http://www.drafthistory.com/index.php/teams/bills

Pretty simple really 1) Bills need to win out to make the playoffs, either by winning the East or wild card 2) Our fate against the Jets is in our own hands. If we win out we end up with a better record than the Jets via winning the last game of the season. Doesn't matter what they do before that game 3) to win the division we need (lots of) help - NE to has to lose 4 games. Not likely but possible. So, since we don't really care what the Jets do, and NE has to start losing, GO JETS!!!

Like weird series like this but they never seem to last more than a season. Last year is was Alcatraz, the year before The Event. There was one the year before that about a town that no one could leave certain boundaries. So yeah, I don't see this one lasting long but will watch it while it's on. Which is in 5 minutes.
