Jets lost in OT but my earlier post said to the Saints, it was actually the Rams. If the Bills had won they were in.

At the post game tail gate we were listening to the Saints drive down the field and kicking an OT field goal against the Jets that would have put us in the playoffs had we won the game... said to my buddies "we could be so pumped right now"

was at the game but didn't go on to the field...still have the beer stein with the team roster that I got for Christmas that year

My brother got jersey of his choice or personalized for his birthday. He asked for personalized, #23 with the name "Hit and Run". A few weeks ago I posted that I would rather New England have a third round pick in their pocket then Moss on their roster (as well as from New England's view point a three productive seasons plus a third round pick in the pocket is pretty good value for a fourth round pick). Why am I now thinking NE will have both the third round pick they got for Moss plus Moss himself...

Agree with all your points, especially the highlighted. Even the super bowl Bills got killed in KC during the regular season (twice I think) before returning the favor at home during the playoffs.

In spite of (in case no one noticed) swirling winds all day Fitz managed to throw for over 200 and run for another 40+. As has been pointed out by several on this thread, we are not losing games because of QB play. He deserves to play out the season and see how he develops. Spending another first round pick on QB would mean in the past 12 years we would have spent 4 firsts, 1 second, 1 fourth, and 1 fifth round pick at qb. Not to mention a seventh this year. I really like Ricky Stanzi of Iowa. Should be available at the top of the fourth. 19 td's vs 2 int this year. Good size and decent feet. Comes from a winning tradition. The predecessor of the colonoscopy was the Barium xray. You didn't drink the white crap the night before, you took 4 tblsp of castor oil. Talk about disgusting, would rather have 4 gallons of the white crap then 4 tblsp of castor oil. As for the xray itself, most pain I've ever been in (and I had Eric Woods compound fracture injury in 76). That was enough to get me to change a meat and potatoes based diet to a fruit and vegetable based diet.

If Mike Williams worked as hard as Maybin he would have been at least serviceable as he showed last year for Washington until injured. Maybin tries hard, he just isn't a very good football player. Not sure who this makes the bigger bust but at least the coaches found a way to get Williams on the field.

I've never really slammed him, certainly not here, just always figured we knew what we have in Fitz, a decent backup, nothing more. And yes, given his play today as well as all season I am starting to reconsider this opinion.
