  1. In this first mock draft I am simply picking players who i think have a shot at being there at our pick and could help out our team in the long run. Round 1- Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M I believe Sammy Watkins will be long gone by our pick, but to be completely honest, I believe Evans could have a better pro career. Of course Evans doesn't wow you with speed, but i believe he has much stronger hands than Watkins (look at the Arkansas tape) and will be much better suited with his size against the more physical NFL defensive backs. Round 2- Jace Amaro, TE, Texas Tech Amaro is not as much of an athlete as Eric Ebron, but he is big and can catch the ball as well as run block a little better than Ebron. Amaro will add another big target alongside Evans for EJ to grow with. I think if we can get these two big targets for EJ early on in the draft this year he can truly begin to mature and hit his stride in the NFL. (One can hope right?) Round 3- Shane Skov, LB, Stanford I have wanted Skov for acouple of years, but a torn ligament in the knee made his draft stock fall considerably. Watching Skov last year showed me that this guy is funny healed and is a tackling machine that can run from sideline to sideline. I believe that if we can pair him with Kiko we will have two budding stars at the linebacker position. This draft is very much loaded with talent and i think in the later rounds an offensive and defensive lineman will be drafted as well as a defensive back and possibly a punter. GO BILLS!!!
  2. Just got an update from the bills app that he signed his tender, can anyone back this up?
  3. In my ideal WR corp with this talent I'd have Stevie Johnson, tj graham, Robert woods, marquise Goodwin, DaRick Rogers and marcus Easley on the team with Kaufman or maybe hogan on the ps. Looking at our WR's if we cut DaRick hoping to get him on the ps hell be snatched up by another team quick. Kid is special and I think needs to make the roster so he can blossom. Brad smith really isn't doing too much for us and I'd just say cut him. For me the toughest decision would be between Kaufman, hogan and Easley after practice and today's game
  4. I'm pretty happy with my reebok navy blue jairus Byrd jersey but I think I'll have to get my self the gift of a new authentic EJ Manuel Nike jersey for this season!!! GO BILLS!!! Super Bowl or Bust
  5. I would be ecstatic if we grabbed Ertz at 41 then Robert woods, quinton Patton or Justin hunter at 46 then get a LB or CB in the third. GO BILLS!!! Super Bowl or Bust!
  6. Luke Joeckel-chiefs Geno smith-eagles Dion jordan-jaguars Cordarrelle Patterson-steelers Tyler Eifert-rams
  7. I like your point about the QB's I'm just so torn from all of them and it's very tough for me to pick one and say, "that's the guy" so hopefully we get the right guy wherever that may be. My mock featured many of the skill players I really like in this draft because this draft seems to be very deep.
  8. Ive been working the last week and after doing many mock drafts Ive decided to make one with the best possible trade down scenario. I really took into account many factors and gave us the best players at the best possible spots we could grab them. so, give me your feedback on how you'd like to see these players in a Bills uniform. Trade: Tampa Bay trades 1st (13), 3rd (73), and 4th (126) For Buffalo 1st (8) This trade is for the best on both teams. I believe Dee Milliner falls to our pick and Tampa desperately needs corner help. In this trade we move back a few spots but still sit poised to take a big playmaker that we desperately need. Here is the actual mock: Round 1, Pick 13- Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame- HT: 6’6” WT:250 As we have seen the league evolve the TE has become a much more important position for teams. Eifert gives us a huge vertical threat and although this is a bit of a surprise first round pick, he gives us a solid TE for years to come. We need offensive weapons and this is a start. Round 2, Pick 41- Kevin Minter, LB, LSU- HT: 6’2” WT:242 Our LB corp is pitiful and it is no doubt that we need to use a top pick on a new LB. Minter is one of the pre-draft visits to One Bills Drive and Buddy loves his southern players. Minter has fallen out of first round talks but I think if we could grab him in the second it could be a steal. Round 3, Pick 71- Matt Scott, QB, Arizona- HT: 6’2” WT:220 Everyone one is calling for a QB in this draft. To put it lightly, this QB class is one of the worst to come out in a few years and that takes away from the relatively strong class despite the QB position. That being said, Scott really intrigues me and I think he could be a good pickup for the players we already have on offense. I know he isn’t the name being thrown around here a lot but Scott definitely brings something to the table and should not be over looked. Round 3, Pick 73- Da’Rick Rogers, WR, Tenn. Tech- HT: 6’3” WT: 215 To put everything out there first, yes, Rogers was kicked off of Tennessee before the season for drug issues. Before that he was really blossoming into a big time receiver. At the start of the season he was projected to be the number one receiver on Tennessee in a very deep WR corp. Rogers is another One Bills Drive attendee and I think the FO could work around his behavioral issues and take the guy in the third. Round 4, Pick 108- Jordan Poyer, CB, Org. State- HT: 5’11” WT: 195 Poyer was first projected very high but the emergence of other CB’s has caused him to fall down the board. Poyer shows a tremendous ability to jump and play the ball in the air. I think he could be a perfect complement to the budding Gilmore to solidify our secondary. Poyer could develop into quite a pleasant surprise for the Bills in years to come. Roudn 4, Pick 126- Alvin Bailey, OG, Arkansas- HT: 6’5” WT: 320 Bailey is my solution to losing Levitre. Of course everyone here is upset at losing a very solid (but not elite) guard, but in reality we cannot pay a guard LT money. So we move on in the fourth round by picking up Bailey. Bailey played in the SEC and held his own against the top competition in college football. Round 5, Pick 143- Connor Vernon, WR, Duke- HT: 6’ WT: 195 I really like the way Vernon catches the ball. He uses his hands and rarely lets the ball come into his chest. Although he is not a burner he is quick in and out of cuts and runs god routes. Vernon can develop into a good 3 or 4 WR for us. He has a high level of maturity and was able to make the best of his opportunities on a sub-par college team. Round 6, Pick 177- Lavar Edwards, LB, LSU- HT: 6’4” WT: 277 We go back to another LB in the later rounds, and once again we go to LSU. Edwards would most likely play on the outside as a pass rusher. We need a ton of depth to run this new defense so that is why Edwards is the pick here. After the draft im always excited to see which UDFA’s we bring into camp. This year here are some names I would like to see us bring in: Alec Lemon, WR, Syracuse Marcus Sales, WR, Syracuse Mike Herrmann, QB, RPI Cooper Taylor, SS, Richmond …not too familiar with many possible UDFA’s but these guys caught my eye and I don’t believe they’ll be drafted. I hope you all find this helpful! I look forward to your feedback and opinions! GO BILLS!!! Super Bowl or Bust
  9. I honestly like the idea of it but we have way too many other needs. They'll get an UDFA rb this year and hell be given a shot in camp. Hey, these young end usually have a good game or two in them so well prolly get one there. That's the reality of it. GO BILLS!!! Super Bowl or Bust
  10. I'm really starting to think it won't be warmack at 8 even though I believed they may turn there. Instead I think they like JC Tretter out of Cornell and if they got him in the fourth I wouldn't be upset at all!!!
  11. I'm just throwing this out there but this draft does seem to be stacked at WR. What if at 8 we took cordarrelle Patterson then in the third round took another reciever like quinton Patton, DaRick Rogers or Robert woods. It's kind of like what Indy did last year with their multiple top draft offensive skill players. These two with a QB possibly in round 2 could solidify the WR position and give us that rookie QB everyone wants. Thoughts? GO BILLS!!! Super Bowl or Bust
  12. I actually really like this draft...good job!
  13. Chad Kelly is the backup to tajh Boyd at Clemson this year and barring any major setbacks he'll start his junior year. I've heard all the jerk comments about him and played against him to know the kind of person he is. But honestly, if he gets us wins I don't care...that's the point I'm at with our QB position. GO BILLS!!! Super Bowl or Bust
  14. Just saw from Adam Schefter's last tweet that Doug Marrone, buddy nix and Doug Whaley where all in Washington last night having dinner with the guy. He was good last year before an Achilles injury but wouldn't mind bringing him in if he were cheap.
