  1. Loved seeing guys we passed on listed as other teams best picks. I think by the end of next season Eric Wood will prove to be the best of this 5 year group. Hope its Spiller though. Assuming there is a season.
  2. Ever here of Steve Howe? Suspended 7 times in 17 year MLB career. Even an average professional athlete is a rare talent, always someone willing to give another chance. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Howe_(baseball_player)
  3. Who's Ryan Miller? Seriously, Enroth played great, really he has every time I've seen him (missed his first game)
  4. And this just in, Aqib Talib. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/football/nfl/03/29/talib.ap/index.html Think twice before asking his sister out
  5. 3 pages and no mention of Charles White, Hollywood Henderson, or Duane (How would I know? Never smoked astroturf) Thomas
  6. um, have you ever seen how we behave when a pretty girl comes in a room?
  7. Been trying periodically to find updates over the past couple years but haven't been able to find anything. Glad to hear he's doing so well. Thanks for posting this.
  8. Make the time to go to a Doctor. If you have a deductible policy you can proably go to a specialist without a referral.
  9. Sadly this is just about the average age NFL players die. http://www.nowpublic.com/sports/average-lifespan-football-player-52
  10. Looked through the list a second time, interesting, 2 first round and 3 second round selections at the most important position (qb), compared to 10 first round and 6 second round selections at arguably the most replaceable position (rb). Helps explain 5 decades of fan frustration...
  11. From what I saw only three in the second round...Collins, Koefler, and Shaw.
  12. [ The Star Spangled Banner when sung 'properly' brings a tear to my eyes. One of the Bills home games, not sure who the sang it but it literally sent chills up my spine. Mentioned this to the folks around me and most agreed.
  13. Know just how you feel, though I try to be just a little more diplomatic about it. That being said, if everyone expressed themselves with your lack of diplomacy it might actually help bring some of these jobs back to the US. Better to pay someone $8 an hour and portray a positive company image then $3 an hour to upset a prospective customer.
  14. That's probably it...think they stay lowered for a month. Thanks
  15. Live next to the coast guard station, flag was at half staff yesterday and again today. President's day for flying flag at half staff is third Monday in February so it isn't that. Only thing I can think of is Reagan's 100th birthday but the rules are pretty specific for flying flags at half staff, if that is it would think it would be a one day thing. Anyone know? http://www.gettysburgflag.com/flyflaghalfmast.php
  16. Not quite what you're looking for but here are the top 10 (Bills check in at number 9 for 1985) http://www.nfl.com/draft/story?id=09000d5d80798fca&template=with-video&confirm=true
  17. Does anyone even know if he likes football? Just googled his name, looked through about 5 of the results - lots on hockey and energy, didn't even see the word football mentioned.
  18. Saw him and his wife with on a talk show a few (possibly several) years ago...said they had sex almost every nite, almost on Monday, almost on Tuesday, almost on Wednesday Also he was a chiropractor
  19. Little young for me (I'm 54) - maybe she has an older sister?
  20. I use hard stop....heard most of these at one time or another, outside the box is a favorite of my second level as is low hanging fruit
  21. the memory of a 52-3 AFC championship victory...otherwise Lofton played well for us.
  22. re will we - Yes re when - hopefully in my lifetime
  23. just get a note saying because of content from vevo this video is blocked in my country
  24. Those like myself who learned to type on a typewriter learned double spacing because a typewriter uses what is called monospaced fonts, meaning all letters/spaces use the same amount of space. Therefore it made sense to use more space between sentences. Computers use proportioal spacing, so for instance an "i" uses less space then an "s". The "space" bar uses more then (I think) anything else. So while it is now widely accepted that single spacing is correct, I for one missed the memo and continue to double space between sentences. http://grammar.quickanddirtytips.com/spaces-period-end-of-sentence.aspx
