  1. YESSSSSSSSSS!!!
  2. Oh well, I wish him a full recovery. A shame it didn't work out, but at least he wasn't being counted on to produce big things this year.
  3. He got Juju eyeball.
  4. I'll try anything once.
  5. No colors for Keon Coleman. Dooooomed?
  6. You can't compare the stats to today's QBs, but it's fair to compare the accolades. A 2-time AFL MVP and 5x first team All-Star equivalent today would be paid like a top-5 franchise QB.
  7. I agree that last year the Bills were very exposed by rolling with Kyle Allen as the sole backup. That was bad. But Trubisky is about as good as you're realistically going to acquire/afford. There are better backups out there, for sure, but it's not like you just go to Target and pick out your favorite one to bring home. The one thing they haven't done is draft a project QB who slides into round 4-5, and see if he develops. But that just seems like a stupid and risky way to burn a draft pick when the team has many other needs. It also leaves you looking for that Trubisky-type for a year or two, anyway.
  8. Dan pouty-face Marino Bill classic 80's movie d-bag jock Romanowski Joe narcissist Burrow Michael hookers-n-blow Irvin I hated a lot of the dynasty Pats, too, but I feel like that's just sour grapes. I guess Irvin is sour grapes, too, but he was/is a bona fide tool.
  9. Found this pic of Javon Solomon at practice.
  10. Marshall Faulk for me. I always thought he was the best RB ever. Not a popular opinion, but watch his highlight reel. He didn't just juke and jive to get out of tackles, he made guys miss by five yards. HIs vision and ability to follow it to open space were unreal. And he was also one of the best WR on his team.
  11. Shakir: 85 catches for 1150 yards, 8TD Kincaid: 48 catches for 625 yards, 7 TD Samuel: 55 catches, 700 yards, 5 TD Coleman: 39 catches, 575 yards, 5 TD Knox: 35 catches, 375 yards, 6 TD Cook: 33 catches, 325 yards, 3 TD MVS: 32 catches, 450 yards, 4 TD Committee: 28 for 350 yards and 3 TD.
  12. Moulds and it's not even close. James Lofton would be a distant second, just to see the bombs they could connect on.
  13. Jets have more to prove, but they should be better than the Fins. Pats are a mess, but that's not to say they can't beat us 1 out of 2 games.
  14. Greg Bell OJ Mike Williams EJ Manuel to represent all the mediocre QBs. Add Scott Norwood if you want to attract more tourists to your monument, but he doesn't deserve that, so I say 'don't'.
  15. I suspect Josh doesn't care about making as much as those other guys - He already has more money than he knows what to do with, and I believe he would rather surround himself with a good roster so he can win. The problem is going to be the NFLPA. Whenever Josh does get a new contract, it will have to be enormous. The union frowns on hometown discounts - it sets the market lower for the guys who just want their bag. Hopefully, it can be structured in a team-friendly way.
  16. You can't ask for much better than Beane. He has made every kind of maneuver possible to make the Bills a contender, which they have been consistently for a good stretch of years. There is nothing he won't do - Sign a big free agent, make a huge trade, pull the trigger on a salary dump, trade up or down in the draft, whatever it takes. I also think that on balance, hindsight is pretty kind to Beane, relative to other GMs. Of course, not every move plays out the way it was intended. Not every draft pick hits. But Beane has had relatively good outcomes all around.
  17. Bust this: Sammy Watkins has more Super Bowl rings than Stefon Diggs, Andre Reed, and Eric Moulds combined. And probably more money than at least the latter two.
  18. If he keeps it up, and sticks around longer than Henry/Lynch/Fred/McCoy, sure. Now, he's not even close to top 5.
  19. Allen Dawkins Knox Shakir for the young guy spot Miller Milano T. Johnson Oliver/Bernard/D. Jones/Rasul/Morris - Any of these guys would be legit.
  20. Why do fans want a Randy Moss type? Gee, I don't know. Why would you want a WR who catches everything and can run faster and jump higher than anyone in the league?
  21. I was just checking out the 2002 Detroit Red Wings roster and stats. They had nine hall of famers plus Pavel Datsyuk. But most of those guys were past their prime - I didin't realize that Shanahan was the leading scorer on the team with 75 points!
  22. Hard not to put WR at the top, but this being more of a 'transition' year will feature a lot of great position battles in pretty much every group.
  23. 2001 Colorado Avalanche should get a shout out, but there are a lot of better examples that have been mentioned already. There have been some ridiculous NBA teams assembled in recent years, but I can't even keep track of them all.
  24. Reich and Kenneth Davis are the top two for sure. A lot of guys were backups for several years, but then became starters for several more. Not a lot of guys have long careers as a backup - they either start some day or get replaced by someone management thinks is better. Not sure all are eligible: Pete Metzelaars was maybe 50/50 backup/starter. AVP is your backup backup QB. Don Beebe, legend. Marcellus Wiley was a backup during most of his time as a Bill, no? Josh Reed Roscoe Parrish Mario Haggan
